_{Before you can start roleplaying here on OuranHS, it is important that you fill out an application for your character. You may start role-playing once an admin has posted an acceptance post. If we give you a few pointers to make your application better, please be sure to read that and follow it or you cannot start role-playing.

Please do not rush the staff into reading your application either. Your application will most likely be read and done at a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 1 week depending on what sort of events outside of OuranHS is occurring and how much work we have on the actual site as well. If your application hasn't been accepted within one week, please do check up on us and your application will be done immediately.}

_{Directions to Starting your Application
1. Please be sure to read the Rules & Regulations before starting your Application. A question will appear to see if you have followed this step.
2. Copy the coding.
3. Go to Pending Applications and create a new topic. Title it your character's Last Name, First Name. If you do not have a last name, that is okay however, please follow the format. No ridiculous names or nicknames because it will be filed away and alphabetized by your last name.

Ex. Uzumaki, Naruto

4. DO NOT CHANGE THE COLOR SCHEME or ANY PART OF THE APPLICATION. We will change it back and honestly, we rather not since it's very tedious, and your acceptance will be delayed.
5. Fill in all material. Make sure you type AFTER the codings such as [/color] or [/font]. If your text appears white, then you are proceeding correctly, however if it is some sort of different color, then it is incorrect.

Persona.
Casual Appearance: Haruhi has messy, short brown hair with her matching brown eyes behind glasses. She's a bit of a tomboy and dresses in odd baggy clothes giving her the appearance of a boy. Haruhi is slim, and being a commoner, can not necessarily pay for the uniforms for Ouran.
Personality: Haruhi is very intelligent, which was her way getting into Ouran High School. She is blunt at times, and unintentionally hurts others although after her Mom had died, she has become very independent and doesn't allow anyone to worry over her. Haruhi can be a bit slow when it comes to love and romance. She's carefree, and doesn't care about looks.
Likes: Ootoro {Giant Tuna/Fat Tuna}, Studying, Sales, High-Class Food

Past: Haruhi's past has molded her into a very intelligent woman. Her mother passed away when Haruhi was very young, leaving her to take care of household chores whilst her father was away at work. She became very independent, and doesn't allow anyone to worry over her. She is a hard working student, very intelligent, and got into the rich school Ouran through scholarships alone. Haruhi's family is a bit poor, so she is unable to purchase a uniform or new clothes. Being a tomboy, she doesn't care much about appearance. In middle school, however, she was very pretty with long hair, and contacts. Some kid had stuck gum in her hair during the time she lost her contacts, so she pursued in cutting her hair herself to save money. And with her blurred vision, she snipped away at the hair until it was cropped short like a guy's. She began to wear old prescription glasses, and that is how she became accustomed to her lifestyle.
Additional Notes: Poor. Broke expensive vase of the Ouran Host Club, so she must repay it with labor.
