First topic message reminder :

The Garden.

He smiled at Riko's more upbeat mood today. "You seem a little more confident than yesterday." He pointed out. He rubbed his chin and started thinking about his times with Ichirou. "You know, it took me a few months before he actually started talking to me back."

Riko smiled lightly."I was actually shy about talking about that subject" She smiled to him."Really?"

(Sorry, had to pick up my sister from her friend's)

He nodded with a faint and light smile.

"We took the same route to school, however, he went to a richer school and I went to public so once we hit a certain intersection he would part." He thought a little more and laughed then shrugged. "I was an annoying and curious kid, so I would constantly bombard him with questions and trying to talk to him every time we walked to school. Eventually we became friends in the end."

Riko smiled and giggled."That sounds nice.I wish i went to elementary school though"

He rubbed his chin. "Eto... Elementary school is the same as any other educational institution."

Riko nodded."Yeah but i couldn't go to school until middle school,since my parents kicked me out and i had to walk across japan to get here"

He picked up his book again and started to skim the pages until he reached the last page he left off from. He took out his reading glasses however, of part of his attention was still on Riko.

"How interesting," He said with a faint smile. "I'm sorry to hear that about your parents." He said, flipping the page.

Riko smiled lightly."It's alright.I was only five years old at the time though.Nobody liked me"

He nodded flipping to the next page. "I'm sorry to hear that as well." He said, still with his faint smile although his attention was slowly becoming more focused on the book the further he got in his story.

Riko smiled."Well i won't bother you now.You can continue your story."

He turned to her and swayed her hand. "Nah, I dislike hearing people's 'sad' pasts. It gets cliche for my taste so I tend to drift away." He said bluntly, placing the book down on the table once more.

Riko smiled."Why didn't you just say so? We could talk about something else too you know"

He let out a light sigh and leaned back on his chair. "I'm more of a listener. I'll spare attention to those who speak to me." He said plainly.

Riko was quiet."Ohh.." She looked at the white roses and smiled.

He picked up the book again and continued his read. "I heard club sign ups were coming up soon." He said, trying to stir up another conversations, considering it would've of been awkward to have someone here and not talk to them.
