Front Door

I wonder if anyone's home. Hmm.. Evangeline pressed the doorbell twice and waited for an answer. I sure hope someone's in or I'll bash this thing open. I didn't went through all that trouble just to be ignored now! she thought as she grunted lazily.

"Coming,coming."Kairi said as she skipped to the door and opened it.There was still a little chocolate on her face from earlier.When she saw Evangeline she was a little shocked."Hey."

"Oh..my..god! Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting here?! Five minutes. Five freaking minutes! That's long you know." she pouted then raised an eyebrow, "..and what have you been doing?" she asked as she noticed the chocolates on her face.

Kairi raised an eyebrow.She kind of expected that and didn't pay her much attention."How nice to see you too Evangeline.Please come in."She said and opened the door for her."Nothing,I have done absolutly nothing."Kairi added and cleaned the chocolate of her face.

"Nah, it's alright. I won't stay long anyway. I just passed by to drop something." She handed her a box wrapped in, pink decorations of course. "Here. Happy birthday. It's a cake. And don't ask. I know it was yesterday. I just didn't finish cook-..I mean, buying it... somewhere.'' she scratched her cheek and bit the side of her lip. A habit she does when lying. After all, it spent her almost the whole day trying to create the chocolate cake.

"And here. My present. It says 'I'm a follower of Evangeline.' Hehe.~" she grinned as she threw her the katana that was gift wrapped as well, with a small card saying 'from Evangeline'.. "I remember you mentioned once that you like those. So.. I hope you'll like it." she shrugged. "Alright. Bye now." she waved before she left.

Kairi looked at Evangeline even more suprised now."You made a cake?!For me?!"She shook her head with a smile.She cought the present and her smile grew even bigger."How did...?"But before she could finish Evangeline was gone."Thank you!"She yalled after her.She chuckled and closed the door.Well after all she isn't really the 'show-my feelings' girl

Sigismund scartched the back of his head, and sighed a tired sigh. "Wow... I swear I didn't know it was going to be this hard to juggle going to school and being a soldier..." Sigismund mumbled under his breath as he walked up to the front door. Once there Sigismund pulled out the extra key Kairi gave him, and unlocked the door. Once he did that he stopped and looked around for a bit to see if Kairi was going to show up.

Sisilia walked to the front door of Kairi's apartment and as she stopped in front of it a heavy sigh left her.She is so going to kill me!She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.After a moment she knocked on the door.She looked at the bag in her hand and started tapping her foot a little nervous.

Kairi walked to the front door and stopped just as she was about to open it.Who might t be?She thought as she opened the door and froze on the spot.Her brained refused to start working again.She was too shoked to do or say anything.

Luna was getting annoyed by this so she walked out of the kitchen with her soda in her hand. "Kairi open the door or move out of the way....." she grumbled.

As Kairi opened the door and saw Sisilia she froze.Well it's better then nothing...Sisilia thought and gave a wide and cheerful smile.
-Happy birthday sis!-She said and hoped that this will not end like the times back home.
Then Sisilia noticed the other girl.
-Oh hi.You must be Luna.Kairi told me about you.

Kairi couldn't believe that her cousin was here.Her word rang in her head as she looked from the green haired girl to the bag and back.Then Sisilia noticed Luna who Kairi quessed was behind her.Then she remembered how to move and the first thing she did was hit Sisilia on the back of her neck."Oh do not happy-birthday me.Where have you been?!I was worried sick and so was the whole family!"

Luna took a sip of her soda and stared at this new girl in their home. "Well I'm glad I've been talked about....but I have no idea who you are." She shifted her gaze over to Kairi. "And what have you been telling this mystry girl about me? And why are you being so rude towards her?" She squeezed between them. "Kairi you haven't invited the girl in...." She shook her head. "Where has all my hard work gone?"

-What?She hasn't talked about me?-Sisilia asked with a hurt face.And if not it was a fake face the hit of Kairi on the back of her neck made it real.
No,it's just like back home.She thought as she rubbed the spot she hit.
-Ok,ok I'm sorry I know I got a little carried away.-She said and Luna stood between them both.And a smile played on Sisilia face now.

Kairi was still glaring at Sisilia as she started talking."A little carried away?!A little?! You were gone for week and a half and no one heard from you not even your brother or at least he wasn't saying anything!"Kairi said and the anger in her voice was clear.Then Luna stood between then and she looked at her.Kaire let out a sighed and relaxed."Fine,fine come in so I won't kill you on the front door."

Luna nodded and pointed to the kitchen. "We can go in there....I'm sorry we're all out of sweets at the moment and more then likely won't be getting anytime soon after my little trip to America, but we have some soda....or if you want some can tea we have that too...." Quickly she glanced between the two for a moment before heading over there. "Just try and keep the front door clean....at least in the kitchen I can clean it....."

Sisilia nodded at Luna and tryed not the pay attention to Kairi almost yelling at her.
-Ok,thanks.I thing I'll just have a soda.-She said and started walking to the kitched and as she passed Kairi she whispered:-She is really nice.
With that she walked in the kitched.

Kairi closed her eyes as she waited for the other two girls to go to the kitchen.But as Sisilia passed her by and said that she shot her with one of her death glares."Just walk."She said and pointed at the kitchen.As the others entered the kitchen she closed the door a little too hard and also went into the kitchen.

Sigismund finally finished work and was finally back home. Well he was in the halls walking towards home that is. Every step he took towards the apartment he thought for a moment, before shaking his head, and sighing. He was dead tired, and wanted to do nothing but sleep. He had basically been running around the base all day doing odd jobs or helping out a few of his buddies. When he finally reached the door he looked down at the door, and took out his key. After unlocking it he opened the door, and walked inside closing the door behind him. Once in the entrance way of the apartment he took off his boots and walked past the kitchen and into Kairi's room. Once inside he fell flat on his face on the bed.

Luna took in a deep breath. What she had just done was something she almost didn't have the guts to do. She had just cut her long hair in the name of change. It was something as a step forward for her. Her long hair had always been with her through out her life. To just chop it off meant something. She was going to finally get the guts to talk to her father sooner or later. But right now she had to walk inside her apartment and face the wrath of everyone inside. Slowly Luna pushed the unlocked door open and stepped inside. "Anyone home?"

Sigismund slowly got up from bed, and got dressed. Afterwards he walked out of Kairi's room and headed for the kitchen before he did however he heard the door open. Sigismund thought it better not to go check it out seeing how it was either Luna, or Kairi. Just as he made it into the kitchen he heard Luna's voice asking if anyone was home. Sigismund smiled, and shook his head. "Yeah, I'm here Luna." Sigismund answered as he walked out to meet Luna at the front door. Just as he did however he was almost punched in the face with shock at seeing Luna's hair being cut. "L-Luna... what happened to your hair? I mean you cut it... it looks good... but why did you cut it?" Sigismund asked surprised.

Luna glanced at the ground and gently touched it. "Well you see Sigismund...." She laughrd sadly. "I tried to get a hold of my father on his birthday yet again he wasn't home. And I really didn't know what to do. But I want to try and change myself to get the courage to face him...." She closed the door and faced it. "But I can't do that yet so I cut my hair instead. I never once cut it short so this is a big change for me...." Luna glanced back at Sigismund. "So it doesn't look bad?"

Sigismund stood there and listened to everything she had to say. When she was done speaking he stood there and shook his head smiling. "I'm proud of you Luna. You did something that was really hard. And you look beautiful with short hair Luna." Sigismund replied to luna smiling.

Luna started to scratch her cheek. "See with you I'm not too worried about. It's Kairi that I'm not looking forward to. With her cousin here and all she's been under so much stress and she's been worrying about me as well." She took off her shoes and jacket. "I just don't want her to flip out on me or something..."

Sigismund shook his head again. "Don't worry I'll be here to help cool her down, but I'm sure she'll be proud that your finally standing up against your father." Sigismund said as he crossed his arms smiling.
