Akihiko ran over to Mereni and grabbed her brunt hand carefully, bring her to the sink. He turned the sink on and turn it to cold water. He place Mereni hand under the cold water. He kissed her forehead and smiled softly, "Careful next time kay?"

Mereni nodded, winced a little and laughed softly. "This happened a lot when I was younger too. Guess somethings never change."

Akihiko chuckled a little and turned off the sink. He pulled Mereni's hand close to his mouth and kissed it softly. "We should go to Miss Kate's now..we probably kept her waiting." He placed the brownies on a plate and put the knife away. "Let's go?"

Mereni nodded. "Let's go." She grabbed the plate with the non burnt hand and Akihiko's hand with her other one. "Thank you."

Mereni walked in and set her cruchs against the wall. She hopped over to the cupboards and pulled out two glasses. "Would you like something to drink, Kiane?"

Mereni smiled and said, "Not you. Yoru. Plus this cast means that Akihiko is going to be carrying me places and I'm going to yell at him." She ran a hand threw her hair.

"Yoru said that they both met at a fighting competition and Akihiko won. Once they meet again, I haven't the slightest clue on what its going to be like, and Akihiko does have his protective side." Mereni replied, taking a sip of the lemonade.

Mereni smiled lightly, got up and limped over to the counter. "Yoru dropped these off before the doctor saw me." She took the sweets that he gave her, and walked back over to the table.
