The Garden

"Somewhat..but I heard my mother loved roses," Kazuki said, glancing at Luna before staring at the roses again. "You?"

"I really don't know..." Luna replied. "I would have to say that they are pretty." She leaned in close and smelled them. "But I don't think they would be my favorite...."

"Same here," Kazuki said, nodding. He stepped away from the roses and sat down on a near by bench.

Luna glanced over at him. "So whats new with you?"

"Nothing really...what about you?" Kazuki asked, he crossed his legs and rested his hands on his lap.

Luna glanced around the garden. "Well, Jaylne's father is staying with us for a week...so I feel over polite when doing things."

"Should that be a good or bad thing?" Kazuki asked, looking at Luna.

She put her hands behind her back. "I really don't know. I don't know how her father is so I won't know if it's good or bad...but for now I can only assume that he is very respectible like my father and play it be ear."

Kazuki nodded and smiled at Luna, "Well I wish you luck on that." He looked up at the sky as he combed his hair with his hand.

Luna smiled back at him. "Thank you...So what about you do you wish to tell today?"

"Not sure...but we can get to know each other more," Kazuki suggested, patting a spot next to him. "We can ask each other questions."

Luna slowly walked over and sat next to him. "Well...do we want to know about each others family, or talk about what we're afraid of most?"

"Both or either one..I'll let you decide...besides it's not everyday that I offer something like this," Kazuki said, looking at all the flowers in the garden.

Luna let out a sigh. "Well I guess we can do both since mine fall under both..." She closed her eyes. "I am the third daughter in my family...My father runs a big business and is a very resectable man. He hates me..."

Kazuki glanced at Luna, his eyes softened, "Why..if you don't mind me asking."

"Luna glanced at the ground. "I'm not a boy...My father waw told that I was going to be a boy, but as you can see I'm a girl..." She paused. "And that brings me to my fears...I'm afraid of going back into that cold place with no one there to look at me, to hold me, or even smile." She glanced up at the sky. "Everyone was so close to me yet I was so far away and living in a lonely cold place. I never want to go back to being totally alone..." She forced a smile. "And I get scared at the sight of blood."

Kazuki nodded and looked at the ground, "Just because you're not a boy doesn't give your father the right to hate you." He clenched his fist and sighed before he looked at Luna, smiling warmly, "And don't worry you'll never be alone cause you'll have me and your other friends."

Luna smiled for real this time. "I know...coming here helped me a lot. I used to never smile or talk to many people." She leaned back and stretched her arms over her head. "So what about you?"

"Me?" Kazuki pointed to himself before looking up at the sky. "Well..my mother and father died a few months after I was born in a car crash. I was with a family friend who was watching over me." He sighed and rubbed his head.

"Since I was really little I didn't understand anything that was happening. My mother and father's family found no need for me and put me up for adoption," he closed his eyes.

"When I was at least three or two I was adopted by a nice and rich young man. And soon after he helped me find my half brother. Turns out that my half bro works in the hospital my adopted dad owns and after that was just normal," Kazuki said, opening his eyes. "And I ended up here."

Luna glanced down at the ground. "Well it sounds like you had it ruff..." She glanced over at him. "But at the same time kind of happy to be here at the moment..."

"I guess you could say...that," Kazuki murmured, sat down on the ground and leaned against the bench. "I am happy to be here..especially with all the nice student here."

Luna turned on the bench and stretcher her legs out along the seat. "Hmm...so what would by your fear?"

"..Losing people who are close to me and the feeling of being alone....," He looked up at the sky and blinked.

"Well it seems that our fears are kind of a like..." Luna closed her eyes. "Me and Kairi...it turns out that we like just about the same exact things...it was really weird finding it out."

"Hmm...What do you do in your free time?" Kazuki asked, looking at Luna.
