The Garden

Riko gasped and picked up the broken rose after she took her foot off of it. She gently set it down under the rose bush.

Berry looked at the girl and says "Your right beauty doesnt last but if you get to see it.. that's all that matter right?" and smiles at her then says "Riko-chan it's ok if it's crushed on it has its own kind of beauty!"

Riko nodded slowly."But it still deserves to live,even if it's crushed.It should be by the bush anyway.."

Berry nods then looks at the girl and smiles and says "I bet your nice but your nervous arent you well its ok thats how I use to be!"

Etsuko shook her head and started walking off, grumbling 'Such ignorance..' under her breath. It was so irritating how people could think sometimes, why think at all when it's such blasphemy?

Riko looked down."I don't think she likes us.."

Berry looked at RIko and said "Hey wait where are you going we just meet each other!!" then runs behind her

Etsuko rolled her eyes Thank you Captain Obvious... She wasn't usually this edgy or inconsiderate of others' feelings, but she was just pissed that she had to leave everything behind for this school, including the one person who kept her happy. She stopped and glared at the blonde over her shoulder, "You don't know me. Don't talk like you do."

Riko followed them."If something's wrong..you can tell us.We just want to be friends"

Berry nods and says 'Yep thats all....please tells us..we just want to help.."

Etsuko was about to punch the girl right then and there, but she restricted herself. "Listen, I don't want friends, I don't want you getting into my life, and I definitely don't want you trying to do either of those things."

Riko looked to Etsuko, almost crying."But why? Ouran's a wonderful place to make friends"

Berrys smile fades away and says "But.....we just want to make you feel welcome and not....you know werid about being at a new school not knowing anyone..." then looks down and a tear hits the ground she felt that way once..when Adam died she hated everyone didnt want anyone close to her..

Etsuko started walking away from them again, "I told you not to get into my life." She was so fed up with talking to these pathetic girls, she couldn't believe one girl was crying and the other was about to, they were so weak it was almost pitiful to watch.

Riko looked to her."But you have to be happy here at Ouran..I have up so much to come to ouran,but i'm still happy"

Berrys angry came back and said "You know you dont have to be so mean we were just tring to be nice then you blow us off like we're some bug....that has no feels!! Your a heartless, brat who only think of themself!! You know we all didnt have it to easy!! And I dont care who you are you dont make my friends almost cry do what you want to me but....agh.."

Etsuko growled lowly, "Well I'm not you! And I don't have to be anything!" She wanted to scream these girls were frustrating her so much, were they not listening to her at all?! She looked at the blonde one again and glared, speaking lowly, yet angrily, "I didn't want you being nice to me in the first place. When I tried to leave, you persisted. Don't expect me to be nice because you gave me something I didn't even want."

Berry looked at her and said "We have hearts....when we see something wrong..with a friend no matter how much you dont want us to your friends....We try to make that person feel better no matter how many time they knock us down we get up and try to help!"

"Y-You're not the only one Etsuko-san..Many of us have been through hard stuff and Berry-chan and i don't even have parents and we're happy.We just want to help" She said quietly.

Etsuko curled her fingers up a bit, looking slightly like small claws. She was so pissed, there was almost nothing that would calm her now. "I'm not your friend damnit! You don't even know my last name, where I'm from, nothing! Calling us "friends" gives friendship a horribly bad name." She was so close to lashing out, she's always been a laid back person, and this was the first time any stress was ever put on her. It was making her so uptight and irritated, she was being mean.

Kuro walked out the garden, and blinked when he saw a figure he knew better than any other. He smiled huge and sprinted over, grabbing the girl from behind by the waist and spinning her in circles, "SUKO-CHAN!!"

Berry snaps out of her angry stage and blinks seeing this boy..

Etsuko was completely shocked by the sudden display and froze. Her eyes went huge when she realized who it was, "R...RoRo-san?" Her voice was soft, yet surprised, the anger vanishing as if it were never even there.

Berry looked at Riko surpirsed..then looks at them and smiles

Riko was quiet.She was happy for her,even if Etsuko disliked them.
