The Pool

Rae nodded, and practically ran out of the pool area... almost slipping.

Ame made her way slowly to the pool in a bikini, curse her mother for packing her clothes before she left. She disliked having people watch her, even guys looking at her made her blush. She got into the pool and made her way to the deep end trying to hide her body in the clear water, no she was not fat.

Nami sighed when Rae left and resumed swimming lap after lap after lap in the pool, not even noticing Ame right there. She was eager to get to work, it had been so long since she had swam in such a long time.

Ame notice Nami swimming laps around the pool, she was surprised to see the said girl to be very athletic. "Ne, ne! Nami! Since when were you the swimming type?" Ame asked her as she kept watching her swim.

Nami stopped swimming for a second, dizzy from swimming for such a long time. She needed a break. She swam over to her friend and smiled before shaking her hair like a wet dog. "I just love swimming... Racing in the water is fun too."

Ame smiled, "I agree that racing in the water is fun, but i am not a fast swimmer. So...Nami-chan...seen any guys?" Ame asked the said girl as she winked.

"g-guys? What are you- ah! ame!!!! You know I don't do the whole guy watching thing... I dunno how.." said Nami, actually turning a little shy, face red.

Ame giggled, "Well how about I, Ame the great, teach you!" she smiled.

"W-Wait a minute! Why don't we go... Uh.. Go fishing instead?" asked nami nervously.

"But Nami-channnn! You know you wanna!"

"... I'm not wearing a dress." was all nami said. That was her way of saying yes.

Ame smirked, "well, since you sort of said yes, where shall we go?" she said smiling.

"I dunno! Unlike you, I dunno where all the guys hang out at!" said Nami nervously and defensively.

"Oh, Nami-chan, when this new student gets his app done. He might be staying with us in our apartement!!" Ame said smiling.

What was he thinking bothering to come here? He HATED cold water! Pools equal cold water! Oh yeah he thought he'd be able to read in privacy considering the pool isn't used so much nowadays in the summer. Shi took a seat on a beach lounge chair. He had a big book that had big words and was pure philosophy.
He hoped he wouldn't get splashed. D:
(Hint hint...nudge nudge...)

Ame turned to look over and Shi, a small blush graced her features, why must she always blush when some sees her in a bathing suite? She then had a 'greatest' idea of all time! Splash the twit! But what if he...you...attacks me...? YOU RUN!

Ame, after resolving her quaral with herself, she swam over to where Shi was sitting, a huge smirk present.

"Oh, Shi-kun!" she cooed before splashing water onto him.

(BUWAHAHAHHAAH I am so mean >D)

(*shrieks like a witch* NO! I'M MELTING!)

It went quicker than what one would have thought. Shi's initial insitinct was to take cover. His hands threw the book then he rolled onto the ground. The lounge chair was propped protecting Shi. His eyes narrowed at the girl.

"What was that for!?" He yelled losing his temper.

Ame's smile went away, replaced by a sad frown, "I was just p-play...I really am sorry." she said as she swam to the other side of the pool. She hated when people yelled at her, and she knew that that was bound to happen.

Nami laughed at the two and shook her head. "You two are ridiculous... And don't yell at her! She's shy.... You're a little grumpy, aren't you, shi-shi?"

Ame leaned against the pool, "Ne, ne....I forgot what i was going to say..." she said as her normally energetic eyes held a bored, dull expression.

She hated when people got to her, especially when it was the guys.

(I was going to say Ame is a guy magnet xD)

Shi's face got a bit pink then he shook his head to shake it away. "I just don't like cold water," Shi muttered looking away as to try to not be ashamed. "Sorry..." he managed to say then spun his finger at his cheek, "...Nice bathing suits..."

(So much for being gay e.e )

(Shi is supposed to be gay?)

Ame's face went from normal to deep red, "A-a-ano..." was all she could say before she had to hold herself up from drowning in the pool.

Nami said nothing. What was she supposed to say. For the first time ever, she froze up and her face actually turned a deep pink color. See what kind of trouble you get me into, Ame?!

Ame looked over to see Nami, she too was blushing. Take that for hanging with a guy!

"Nami, are you okay?" was all Ame said as she tried to hide a smirk that was sneaking up on her.

"nngh...." murmered nami as she felt her face turning more red. She didn't usually get this away around guys so was she being stupid now?! "you know what, Ame? Expect lizards in your bed if you say anything..."
