The Pool

Akihiko glanced at Kairi then at his reflection in the pool water, "I quote from Mizu-chi..her exact words, 'He's a bit rude for good intentions, certainly blunt. And...ah, very impatient.' .."

She shook her head slightly laughing."Well then it will be fun annoying him."

"We should watch and see when someone annoys him first before you do..so you'll be more aware what happens when you annoy the poor sensei," Akihiko said, he splashed the watch making his reflection go blurry. "She also said that he's a little uptight."

"Hallo detention,I missed you."She said and got under the water swiming like that for a while.After that she let the water take her to the surface like she was dead enjoying the feeling it gave her.

Akihiko poked Kairi, "Detention? You've had detention before?"

She turned around so now the sun was hitting her face.Kairi closed her eyes because of the light and laughed at his question."Lets say the theachers don't like me."She looked at him with one eye closed."And you?Haven't you been to the "darkest room"?

"Yeah you can say that... I have both watching over the detentions kids along with some teacher and been in the detention myself," Akihiko said, stretching before putting his hands behind his head. "Some teachers liked me while others not so much."

"Why didn't the others like you?"Kairi asked and sat at the edge of the pool letting her hair fall on her sholders,down the back as small drops of water traveled all over her body.She started kicking the water and watched it as small waves formed.

"I honestly don't know maybe because...eh never mind I don't know," Akihiko said, he got up and sat at the edge of the pool. He glanced at Kairi before he laid down, "I think it was because the student in their class listened to me more than them..but that's just a possibility."

She smirked and turned to him looking Akihiko in the eyes."That's not 'cause you were some sort of a gang leader,right?"She laid down and streched her arms to the sky.

Akihiko returned her gaze with his deep violet eyes and smirked, "I don't know you tell me." He cracked his knuckles making a popping sound each time he cracked one. "Plus if I was a 'gang leader' wouldn't I be more intimidating or something like that?" Akihiko asked, making quotations around the word 'gang leader'.

She laughed at his actions."Well I don't know maybe you are one of the good guys."Kairi smiled and shook her head.It was a strange conversation but still fun. She went to her stuff and got out two cans of soda and offered the boy one as she took a sip of hers.

Akihiko nodded a 'thanks' and grabbed the soda, taking a sip out of it. "Good guys? Maybe I'm not a good guy at all and maybe I am a gang leader..but who knows," he shrugged, licking his slightly chapped lips before grinning.

"Maybe..." She sat down and got her legs in the pool.What was the possibility he really is?Kairi chuckled at the thought and shook her head.She was playing with the can and soon got her finger cut.It started bleeding and she brought it in front her face as a drop of blood rolled down.Then she sucked at the cut to make the blood stop.

Akihiko looked at Kairi from the corner of his eye, "Watch yourself next time." He started to swim some laps back and forth across the pool.

She nodded,her finger still in her mouth.She looked up at the sky and saw a cloud which reminded her of the head of a wolf.Kairi smiled softly and laid back thinking what would it be if she was a wolf.Slowly she closed her eyes and relaxed leaving every sound around her be heard.

Akihiko stopped swimming and glanced a Kairi who looked at the cloud. He looked up at the cloud and saw something that resembled a wolf's head. He smirked and chuckled a little.

Her eyes flew open and she stood up.She looked at her reflection in the water.Then Kairi jumped in and stayed under for a moment clearing her thoughts.

Akihiko was startled a little bit at the sudden action Kairi did. He looked curiously at the spot of water, waiting for her to get back out.

Now she was alright.She let her breath out and a moment later went up.A sigh left her lips as she got her hair up again removing it from her face.She smiled at Akihiko when she noticed he was looking at her."So,what do you want to do?"

"Up to you," Akihiko said, splashing in the water a bit. He hit the water a little to hard and splashed Kairi in the face. Akihiko chuckled a little and shrugged, "Oops?"

She took a deep breath and gave him a death glare."Opps?"She asked with a face smile.Kairi then splashed him and swam a little further."Opps!"She said and smirked.

"Hey! I said I was sorry..wait never mind I didn't," Akihiko exclaimed, swimming close to Kairi so he can splash her again. He was a few feet away from her before swatted the water, splashing Kairi again, "Oops!"

"Oh..." She took a deep breath and got under the water.He is going down.She thought as she got closer to him.Kairi jumped in front of him only a few inches away and splashed water in his face.

Akihiko gasped and wiped the water off his face, "Oh so that's how you want to play?" He used both of his hands to splash water at Kairi.
