Anime Club

Have a passion for anime but can hardly find anyone to talk about it about or cosplay? In the Anime Club,you can cosplay,rant, and do so many other things along with your fellow otaku! Together we can create cosplay skits, amvs and maybe even brainstorm for our own anime!

Kendo Club

Kendo is the Japanese sport of sword fighting where Shinai (bamboo swords), along with protective armour are used. This equipment is used for training in place of the razor-sharp metal swords that Japanese martial arts are famous for. A very popular sport in Japan, Kendo developed from the fighting art of Kenjutsu, which dates back to the 11th century and was the most important martial art of the samurai. Kenjutsu was practised by many famous swordsmen, such as Miyamoto Musashi, author of The Book of Five Rings.

In this club members will get the chance to go all out, and have a fun and epic time as they learn to handle a blade. Members start out with everything they need to get started, and will each be given their own bamboo blade. There is usually a friendly tournment held once every month or two months depending on how ready the members are.



Club Creator: Sigismund Godfred
Main Purpose: a club for students that allows them to pratice and learn the art of the blade. The club is also a place for students to meet, and make new friends. The club is also a good way to keep in shape.

-A willingness to learn
-Must have at least some knowledge of Kendo
-Must be willing to give up some time in order to train.
Time: DAY; starts at 5 pm, and ends at 7 pm for rookies, Vets can come and go when ever they feel like training but MUST at least show up for one hour.
