Playground

Yoru laughed and ran around the playground just for fun.

Kairi laughed and streched her arms."That's the same reason I said roses..."She muttered.

Lelouch remained quite, then turned to her, "Hey, you wanna go for a swim?" he asked trying to cure his boredom

Kairi sat up with an smile."I'm always up for a swim!"She said cheerful as usual.

"Um...how about the beach?" Lelouch asked smiling

Kairi nodded with a smile."Ok,let's go."She said laughing and started running towards the beach.

Kairi skipped to the playground with her headphones on.She sat on the ground and closed her eyes leaving the music take her attention completly.Not long after she was lost in her thoughts and didn't take any concern to what was happening around her.

Vertigo was playing tag with the other little children in the playground and apparently, he was always the tag. He chuckled after couple of minutes playing and finally dropped on the ground to rest. "Alright have fun. See you guys next time." he chuckled again as he bid farewell.
He took a towel from his bag and a bottle of water. Then he noticed someone he knew nearby. He blinked then smiled. "Hi Kairi-san!" he waved at her.

Kairi didn't hear anything as she had her headphones on and her eyes closed.As the next song started a small smile appeared on her face as it was one of her favourite songs.She streched her hands and laid on the ground humming the melody silently.

Vertigo blinked and noticed she had her earphones on. He drank water first and began shuffling his hair with the towel. Then stood and walked over to Kairi. He bent down a bit looking at her. "Hello?"

Kairi opened her eyes as she thought that there was somebody near her.Of course she didn't believe this feeling so she was really suprised when she saw Vertigo infront of her.She jumped a little freaked out and bumped her forhead into his."Damn...Sorry."She said while rubbing her forehead.

Vertigo leaned back rubbing his forehead. "Ow. Ah, are you alright?" he looked at her. "I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have startled you like that." he chuckled.

"No,no...it's alright"Kairi said still rubbing her forhead with one eye closed."Anyway...hi."She turned to him and smiled.

Vertigo smiled back. "Hi." he chuckled. "So, what brought you here?" he asked.

Finally the pain in her head faided sa she stood up and streched putting her ipod away."I had nothing better to do and decided to take a walk."She looked around just realising she was in the playground."And I ended up here...I guess."She muttered.

Vertigo chuckled. "Well what a coincidence. I was dragged here by some little kids to play with them. And I somehow ended out here as well." he laughed.

"Now that must've been fun."Kairi said as she walked to the swings and sat on one of them."So how are you?"She asked as she started swinging ligthly.

Vertigo chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "I'm fine. Like always." he chuckled and sat on the swing next to her. "And you?" he asked as he dragged himself all the way back and let go for a higher swing.

"Hyper...less then usual,but still hyper."She said and smiled at him.She then stopped her swing and took something out of her pocket."Oh,by the way...look at what I've got."She held her hand up to him and she was holding the clam he gave to her.

Vertigo looked at her hand. "Ah! The clam!" he chuckled and forced himself to stop from swinging. "So, have you opened it yet?"

Kairi glared at the clam and shook her head."I couldn't open it..."She then turned to him."So I was hoping you could open it."

Vertigo laughed. "I told you. Though it looks fragile. It's really strong." he chuckled. "Like a book, its content can't be judged by the appearance of the cover." he smiled and gently took the clam from her. He looked at it. "So, you want me to open it now?"

Kairi sighed and nodded."Yeah if you can...I'm dying to know if there's something inside it."She said and turned to the clam in his hand still glaring at it alittle.

Vertigo blinked then smiled. "Okay." he chuckled and held one hand on top of the clam and turned to face her to immediately show her if there's something inside once he opens it. Then he grinned and winked. "But on one condition." he chuckled.

Kairi turned from the clam to him but this time with a rather confused look."What?"She asked not really wanting to wait more to see if there's anything in the clam.

Vertigo chuckled and held onto the clam, then placed it inside his pocket. "I'll only open it under one condition." he smirked. "Answer 5 of my questions honestly." he chuckled.
