Playground

Yoru laughed and ran around the playground just for fun.

Vertigo scratched the back of his head and chuckled. He sat on one of the swings. "So, uhm, you like swings?" he laughed then looked at Echo. He whistled. "Hey, come here girl." he smiled.

Ame sat on the swing next him and smiled. "Yes, I simply love them." she started to rock back and forth, "They make me feel like I am flying sometimes." She looked at Echo and patted her leg, "Come here E-chan! Ver-kun wants to play with you." Echo wagged her tail as she came running up to the two.

Vertigo chuckled. "You hate high places like roofs, but you like swings. Wow. Weird." he laughed as he pulled back all the way, then released himself to make a swing far forward

"I fell off a roof two years ago. Daemon had taken me up there after it had rained to see the stars and I slipped." she said slowly rocking back and forth. "I just don't like roofs." Echo sat next to Ame and barked softly.

Vertigo chuckled. "I see. So that's why you hate roofs. What a shame though. Roofs are nice places to watch the overlooking view." he smiled as he kicked the ground to push himself back to swing higher.

Ame shrugged, "If I am sitting in someone's lap, I feel fine. It's just by myself that I get that way..." she said. She let out a sigh and ruffled Echo's fur, "Ne, E-chan you should be going home soon."

Vertigo chuckled. "So that's why you wanted to sit on my lap when we were on the roof." he smiled. "At least that way you'll know you won't slip." he laughed and looked at Echo. "Will she be fine going home alone?"

Ame nodded before smiling at Echo, "She is a big girlie. She will be fine." she said before pulling out a little dog treat, "Here you go Lady Echo, for such a fine job of not jumping up and pouncing on Ver-kun." Echo yipped and licked Ame's fingers. She gave the treat to the dog and smiled, "She is a really sweet dog."

Vertigo looked at the dog and back to Ame, then chuckled. "I can see where she got that trait." he smiled.

Echo ate the treat before walking off towards the apartments. Ame looked back at Vertigo, "What do you mean? I don't understand..." she said giving him a confused stare.

(I wants to watch TV :D so I'll be back laterz. Daemon is being dragged off as well.)

(aww.you do realize that it's already almost 2am here right? so i'll probably go off to sleep sooner or later. or on second thought, I'll just wait for you.lol)

Vertigo chuckled. "Well, pets get their 'personalities' from how their upbringing; of how their owners treat them every day. That's why mostly those who're treated badly also grow up with a rather unpleasant attitude." he smiled.

(Lawl sorry I didn't get back on. I tried but my mom dragged me off to the doctor)

Ame tapped her chin, "Ne...Echo has always been...well like me. She is a dog that I love." she said giving him a small giggle. "I think she likes you. Alot."

Vertigo laughed. "Well that's unexpected. I've never been good with dogs. That's why I have a pet cat instead." he chuckled.

Ame got out of her swing and staggered a bit, "Cat? I love cats...though I've never been able to have one." she said gaining her balance back. She looked at Vertigo. "Wanna go slide with me?"

Vertigo jumped off the swings and ran towards the slide. "Haha. Last one's a monkey." he chuckled.

Ame made a face and ran after him. She tripped over herself and tumbled on the wood chips. When she came to a stop, she laid on her back with her arms spread out. She let out an annoyed sigh and glared at the sky. "Screw you Buddha....You. Are. A. Sadistic. Man!"

Vertigo raised his brows and turned around when he heard a loud falling sound. He chuckled as he saw Ame lying there. He walked over to her. "I thought your only injury is your wrist? You never told me anything about your ankle or your leg." he teased, holding out a hand for her.

Ame sat up and glared at him, "Haha very funny. I tripped on my shoe." she said looking to the side. "One day...when you get hurt because of Buddha, I will laugh." she said taking his hand. She stood up and whined, "I got wood chips all over me!" she started to brush them off.

Vertigo laughed and shrugged. "Tough luck. I'm an atheist." he chuckled and shuffled through his pocket and handed her his handkerchief.

"Well, if your non-existent god trips you up I will still laugh!" she said looking at his handkerchief, "What is that for? You could be helping!" she said running her hands through her hair.

Vertigo shrugged and placed his handkerchief back. "Sorry. My instincts." he chuckled. He moved closer to her and brushed off some wood chips from her shoulders and her back. "What a clumsy girl." he chuckled.

Ame looked at him and sighed, "I can't help it..." she mumbled under her breath. She brushed the remaining wood chips away and took his hand in hers. "How about we walk, no more running." she said with a smile.

Vertigo blinked then chuckled. "Right. Suit yourself." he smiled and looked at the slide. "Although we're still going there right. I kind of missed the slide." he laughed.

(I've noticed xD lol I check to see if I pass people cause...I want my spot back xD)

Ame started walking, "I love to slide. Makes me feel like a child." she said before giggling, "Ver-kun is so cute when he says he misses something."

Vertigo stopped walking then blinked. He looked at her. "I'm..cute?" he raised an eyebrow. "Hey, are you sure you're the Ame Hikari I met before, or some individual pretending to be her?" he chuckled.
