Riko nodded."Yeah. Okazaki-sensai talked about it last night at class" A bee flew onto her arm and stung her at her wrist. She winced.

Vertigo blinked and smiled. He increased his speed into a jog. “I thought you said you still have the energy?” he chuckled.

Kate held her stomache and ran, dashing into a tree and jumping trees climbing up higher.

Vertigo noticed she was still holding her stomach. “Hey wait, don’t overdo things.” He said as he sped up behind her.

Kate had hid and sat down, then spit her toung out, getting down carefully, "I better stop..."Kate said, softly.

Kate held her stomache but getting into a low treebranch. Kate softly kept her hand on her stomache. Kate sighed, as though something was hurting her, slightly.

Vertigo emerged from one of the tree branches and gently took her by the arm. “Hey, are you alright?” he asked as he looked down towards her stomach. “Does it hurt?”. He crouched and pointed at his back. “ Let’s go. Hop in. I’ll carry you back where they are.”

Kate shook her head, "I'll walk thanks though...But I didn't think before agreeing to play to this..."Kate said, feeling childish.

Vertigo blinked then smiled. “I guess the third ninja is caught?” He stood and held out his hand for her.

Kate nodded, but as she got down, she grabbed her stomache and leaned against the tree.

"Damn.."Kate muttered.

Vertigo sighed. He took her hand and wrapped her arms around his neck and stood, carrying her on his back. “You’re the super-sweet type. I have enough of meeting another stubborn one.” He chuckled and ran towards the garden. “If we’re lucky, Evangeline will have a handy medic kit.”

"NoNo! I know why my stomache's hurting and its nothing she can fix!"Kate squeaked, she finally gave up crying, begging him to stop.

Vertigo stopped and looked over his shoulder. “Hmm. Okay.” He went down for her to get off. “Is there anything I can help you with then?”

Kate shook her head, crying..."Not that I know of..."Kate said, she was mentally hitting herself she was supposed to be happy for this not crying and sad.

Vertigo caught his breath and panicked as he saw her tears. He took a handkerchief from his pocket and gave it to her. “H-here.” He tilted his head. “What happened? What’s wrong?”

Kate didn't take it, "No thank you Vertigo...I'm..I'm pregnant..."Kate said hiding her face from Vertigo, obiesly thinking he would get mad or plain out be mean to her.

Vertigo blinked. He was speechless. “Uhm.” He blinked again. Then smiled and patted her head. “I’m mad. But only because you didn’t tell me earlier. You know very well it’s very dangerous to do those ‘stunts’ while pregnant right? Now you made the baby mad as well.” He chuckled. “Let’s go.” He smiled offering his hand. “But don’t do that again okay?”

"I'm sorry.."Kate said,softly.
Kate took his hand, and nodded.

Vertigo started walking towards the garden. “So, since when? Do others know?”

"About a month now..Only you, Lelu, and Mereni...."Kate said.

“A month?!” Vertigo blinked then cleared his throat. “Sorry. You just made me worry. Take care of yourself okay? For you and his/her sake.” He smiled. “Pardon me, but if I’ll guess right, Lelu is the father?”

Kate nodded. "Yea....lets see we found out I was pregnant on augst, 23 yea...that was when te found out...so alittle less then a month..."Kate said.

Vertigo stopped walking and looked down. “Are you going to keep it?”

"I want to...But Lelu doesn't want the baby...But he told me he would help me raise the baby...If I kept it...that is.."Kate replied, in a gentle yet, seemingly kind tone.

Evangeline yawned and folded her arms behind her head as she leaned back against the tree. "Hrrrm. Those two are sloow~" she grunted.

Vertigo smiled. "Then I highly highly suggest you keep it." he chuckled. "It's such a waste if you don't."

Kate looked at Vertigo, and smiled lightly.
