Riko nodded."Yeah. Okazaki-sensai talked about it last night at class" A bee flew onto her arm and stung her at her wrist. She winced.

Vertigo smiled and held out his hand for a handshake. "And I'm Vertigo Valentine." he chuckled. "Nothing interesting about me, really. Just your average normal highschool guy." he smiled.

Lelouch took his hand "Sad thing is" he continued darkly, as a thin smile spread across his face "That's all true"

Kairi looked a little concerned at Lelouch but decided not to bring that up."So who's up for some cake?!"She asked and and lifted the boxes.

"Oh me please" he said happily as his thin smile was replaced with a sweet one

"Ooooh, cakes." she moved forward from the tree and looked at the box. "You bake?"

Vertigo smiled at Lelouch. "Well, everyone has a dark past of their own. And I don't think I'm in the position to question yours." he chuckled. "Nice to meet you then, Lelouch-san."

He looked at Kairi. "Ah, personal assistant, you baked me another one?" he chuckled.

Lelouch nodded, "I'll be interested to hear yours then" he said as he turned to Kairi "I love cake!" he said happily

Kairi nodded and glared at Vertigo."I bake 'cause someone made me!"She muttered and opened one of the moxed and it had a chocolate cake."That's for us."She muttered and handed Vertigo the other one with a strawberry cake."That's yours.And please don't call me that!"

Evangeline looked between Kairi and Vertigo, and finally stopped at Vertigo. "Waaaah~ You have a personal assistant?! That soooo awesoooome!" she grinned in excitement. "Wait, how did that happen anyway?"

Vertigo chuckled. "It's something for winning a bet." he laughed and looked at the strawberry cake. "Uhm, who is that for again?" he chuckled playfully.

Lelouch started wide-eyed eyed at the Cake, "It looks so gooooooood!" he said happily

Kairi took a deep breath and gave Vertigo a death glare."Vertigo - sama..."She said and closed her eyes."By the way I told Sigismund..."

"Vertigo... -sama?" Evangeline blinked twice looking at Kairi. And then bursted out in laughter. "Bahahaha! Awesooooooome! You have personal assistant who bakes you cake and calls you, that thing?! Haha!"

She patted Kairi's shoulder and nodded thoughtfully, "That's pretty bad for you. I know." and she started laughing again.

Vertigo chuckled and took the cake. "Pretty lucky, aren't I?" he smiled at Evangeline. "Don't worry. The next time we play, you'll be next." he teased and turned to Kairi. "Really? Did he get mad? I hope not."

Lelouch remained quite, knowing this was none of his business

Kairi continued glaring at Vertigo as she took a slice of the chocolate cake and took a bite."He didn't get mad just a little jealous...But still he got over it quicly."She said with a small laugh."He is ok with me bringing the cakes at the band room."

Evangeline scoffed. "Yeah right. Try that, and you'll end up losing and become my own personal butler... Ohohohoho! That'll be fun. Wehehe." She took a slice of the cake. "Itadakimasu!" she said before taking a bite. She looked at Lelouch and poked his arm. "So, how have you been lately?"

Lelouch turned to Evangeline after she poked him, "Alright I guess, haven't done much, you?" he asked as he took a slice of cake

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "Really? What part of the bet made him jealous anyway? I'm pretty sure I didn't request anything that'll at least affect your relationship." he looked at his strawberry cake and smirked. He took a slice. "Itadakimasu!" he said at the same time as Evangeline before taking a bite as well. He looked at Evangeline. "I said it first."

Kairi shook her head with a little laugh."It's nothing."She said and took another bite of the cake."So what have you guys been up to?"

Evangeline took another bite on her cake. "I've formed a band!" she told Lelouch. "Hehe. It's really fun hanging out with those guys." Then she glared at Vertigo. "No you didn't. I said it first."

Vertigo continued eating his own strawberry cake. "Hey, Lelouch-san, you're Kate-san's friend right? Yeah, I remember now." he chuckled. "I met her back then when I was still new in the school. I haven't seen her since then. How is she?"

"It's just Lelouch, and Kate is doing well, I saw her the other day, and if you were wondering, me and Kate are together" he said happily as he took another bite

Kate wondered in, beein gone for awhile bugged her. Espesially scinse it was about the death of her step father. Her and her older brother were the only two that didn't cry. Kate didn't miss him and she wasn't going to. She did her respects by showing up. She sat down on a bench and muttered, "Why does this happen to me?" She looked up at the sky with a lifeless look. "Lelu..."Kate muttered.

Kate closed her eyes but she sighed.
