Lake

Kate smiled.

Mereni smiled back and asked, "Anything new?"

"No...But me and Kiane got into a funny arguement."Kate said.

"Over what?" asked Mereni with a light laugh.

"...My mechanical pencil...."Kate said, sweatdropping.

Haru approached the lake with her hands in her pockets and ear-buds in. She walked over and sat on the edge of the dock, looking out over the water.

Raven jogged to the lake. She put her iPod in her pocket and sat on the ground breathing in the fresh air.

Kairi walked to the lake feeling kind of sad.Her eyes were filled with tears which she was holding for a long time.She sat down on the grass and looked at the water.There was no one around so she didn't bother to put her usual smile on or try to cheer herself up.She stared at the resting water for quite a while.She felt something wet run down her face...The tears finally fell.Kairi left a couple more get away and then wiped her face as she closed her eyes.

Lelouch strolled along the waters edge, he was bored to tears, he sighed as he placed his hands in his pockets, and bowed his head, looking like some depressed teenager. Lelouch continued his search for something to do

Kairi liad back without opening her eyes.She was feeling better more or less but still there was this feeling...

Lelouch continued to walk, until he found Kairi, "Hey" he said walking over to her

Kairi's eyes flew open when she heared someone near revealing her still a little red eyes.She shook it all away a little and turn to face Lelouch.She gave him a small smile."Hey."

"What's wrong?" he asked in a worried tone, sitting down beside her

"It's that noticable,huh?"She asked as she rubbed her eyes and shook her head lightly."It's nothing,really...Just one of those days."Kairi said and gave it a small laugh.

Lelouch smiled, "Nar, I can just tell" he said looking at her, and tilted his head, "Do you need a hug?"

She laughed again...He cheered her up even a little."It's weird when you ask as if it's something on a sale..."She joked and looked at him."You just give it..."

He smiled and hugged her tightly, "It'll be okay.." he whispered

She hugged back lightly."Yeah...there is always hope..."She muttered as she closed her eyes for a moment.

Nayr stood at the shore of the still lake, holding up an old deck of cards in front of him. Letting them float away, one by one, in the wind.

Evangeline was playing her violin by the lake when she noticed someone. She immediately halted and looked at him, wondering what he was up to.

Nayr turned to see a girl holding a violin. "Was that you playing them elegant notes?" He asked the girl. "The perfect song to lay these cards to rest to." Cards still swirling around in the air.

Evangeline's eyes immediately sparkled. "Woaaaaaah!! Amazing!! How're you doing that?" she smiled as she ran to approach him.

"The cards are my friends, they do as i want. These are old and need a proper burial." He said in a calm tone.

"Heh?" Evangeline raised an eyebrow as she looked at him. But after a few moments, smiled as she understood. "Haha. So you have a passion for cards then." she turned and look at the lake. "I may be the same when it comes to music." the wind caught her hair, slightly billowing it to the side.

Nayr reached out and grabbed a card from the air. "Yes i have a deep passion for these cards, they never leave my side." He smiled softly as he looked at the card, "here have this, its the queen of hearts, my favorite." He slowly reached towards the girl and placed it on her violin. "By the way. What is your name?"
