Pool

She nodded and jumped out of the pool.Kairi dissapeared for a few second only to come running and jumping in the pool splashing water on both of them.

Kairi was still swiming but at the end of the forth lap she started getting a little tired.And that was all because of the whole sitting-on-the-bottom thing.Non the less she shook it of and thought of trying swiming a little faster as Vertigo was catching up.But if she did that she'd reach her limits way too fast soo she continued with the same speed.

Vertigo continued to swim at the same pace with Kairi although he noticed that she wasn't going any faster. He forgot to squint his eyes as he reached the end of the fourth lap to make a turn, and his head bumped into the wall, making him resurface. He groaned and held his head, then simply turned around and kicked the end to swim the fifth lap.

Kairi was on the sixth lap and as much she didn't want to admit it her left hand was starting to hurt her again.For a moment she went back to the moments she broke it but fastly shook it off and tryed to ignore the pain.She was almost there and there was no way she could loose now as Vertigo was somewhere behind.She let her hand hit the wall and the rase was over...and she was the winner.She surfaced and took a deep breath fallowed of a paiful sound."Damn it..."She muttered but non the less smiled and turned to see where Vertigo was.

As Vertigo reached the end of the fifth lap, he didn't recognize the edge, and hit the wall again for the second time. He resurfaced. "What is wrong with you?" he murmured to the wall in particular out of frustration. He turned around and swam the last lap at his full speed to catch up to her, and he almost did. Right after her hand touched the wall, his hand reached as well.

He resurfaced rubbing the side of his head. "Well, looking on the positive side, I guess I'm lucky we didn't have a bet." he laughed.

"You really are lucky."Kairi said with a laugh.She sat on the edge with only her legs in the water.She stretched her hands as if nothing was wrong so Vertigo won't notice the pain in her hand.

Vertigo wasn't a psychic to notice the pain in her hand. He just kept rubbing his forehead. ''You know what's weird? I hit the wall twice. That's... stupid.'' he laughed.

Kairi laughed and nodded."You can say that."She said with a smirk and got out of the pool.She went to her things and wrapped the towel around her as she was a little cold."You know there is something for you."Kairi added with a smile and held up a small box with chocolate cupcakes."Care to have some?"

Vertigo saw the cupcakes. He immediately jumped out of the pool and ran towards it. ''Thanks!'' he chuckled as he took one. ''Itadakimasu! Oh, you can have some if you want. I bet you got tired from all those laps.''he smiled and took a bite.

Kairi nodded with a smile and reached for a cupcake but stopped and looked at Vertigo.She remembered what happened the last time she took from his sweets and wondered if she should take one now."And you promise you won't do anything?!"

Vertigo looked at her while he munched his cake. "What, you think I'll do it knowing that you're with Sigismund? He'll kill me if I do that." he laughed.

Kairi laughed and took a cupcake without saying a word.She sat on the ground and placed the towel around her shoulders.She stared at the water as she bit on the cupcake.

Vertigo popped open his phone to check for messages. He scanned through the list of miscalls while he ate, and found the person unimportant. He closed it and threw it aside then sat beside Kairi. "I'm bored." he took a bite. "I'm starting to find school uninteresting." he sighed.

Kairi chuckled."Welcome to the club."She muttered as she brought her cupcake up as if she was saying 'cheers'.She shook her head still with a smile and took another bite of the cake."As for the boredom I'd say we should have another race...But it's be boring to beat you again."Kairi said and she brought her knees up to her chest."And I'm not really going to be able to do...."She raised her head and looked at the sky."...even a lap more."

Vertigo looked at her and smiled. ''Don't force yourself.'' he chuckled. He looked up at the sky and sighed. ''Kairi-san, I think, I'm planning on..'' he sighed. ''I'm planning on leaving Ouran.''

Kairi nodded when he said not to force herself with a little smile.But then he said that thing about leaving and she turned to him surprised."What?Why?"She asked couldn't believe it.

Kiane walked into the pool area, and sat with a shirt, and shorts.

Vertigo chuckled. "Don't worry. It's not that of a big deal. Besides, I'm not yet sure about it." he smiled. He looked at the pool. "I don't know. I guess I just enrolled in Ouran to have fun. But now I'm starting to get bored." he chuckled. "Besides, I also just went here in Japan since I'm searching for someone."

"Well,yes sometimes it can be boring...But others it's really fun."She muttered as she hugged her knees and looked at the water."And about the special someone.Are you sure you've looked everywhere here for her?"

Vertigo shrugged. ''That's the point. I've only been staying in this school when I'm supposed to be travelling around Japan.'' he chuckled. ''But seriously, I don't know. If the senseis don't appear sooner or later, maybe I'll really just leave.'' he shrugged.

"Hmmm..."Kairi muttered and placed her shin on her knees and looked at the water once again."Than again...Do you mind me asking who that person is that you are looking for?"She asked as she hugged her legs.

Vertigo scratched his head and laughed. "Honestly, I don't know as well. Haha. Weird huh? You can't blame me. It's been a long time." he chuckled.

He stood up and shuffled his hair. "Hmm, I'm not yet sure about leaving anyway, so don't worry too much about it." he smiled. "Besides, we have a deal for one month after all. If I leave now, it'll go to waste." he laughed.

Kairi nodded with a little smile but then he brought the whole bet-thing and she turned to him with a little glare.After just a second that look and replaced by a surprisingly evil smile."You know I really want to punch you right now..."She muttered and turned away."By the way I have a new member to my family!"She said a little more cheerful.

Vertigo chuckled. "Well, I haven't actually heard of a personal assistant punching her boss. Wouldn't that mean a additional one month to the 'contract'?" he laughed, then smiled. "Additional member of the family? You have a newborn sibling?"

Kairi jumped up a little angry and looked at Vertigo with a scary look."Are you serious?!"She mumbled and went to him pulling his hair a little."You know I will NOT do it for the world,Vertigo-sama!"She said but then let go and shook her head."Nope,it's not a newborn...well not exactly."

Vertigo closed one eye as she pulled his hair. He chuckled. "Ah, now that's physical violence. Haha. Would that mean another 2 months for the contract? That must be hard for you. Tch tch." he teased.

He looked at her. "What do you mean not exactly?"
