"I'm good~" Kiane said, in his normal tone.

"The happy kid as usual.."Kiane said smiling.

Haru laughed, imagining the energetic boy running around with her younger sisters. "As usual. The twins have been begging to play with him again. Seems he's quite the ladies' man." she chuckled to herself.

"Appers so..."Kiane laughed.

"And how are you and Mina-san doing lately?" Haru asked.

She's getting aggrivated with someinthing that she doesn't want me doing..."Kiane said.

"Hm..." Haru looked at him, wanting to ask but deciding not to in a public place. "Then maybe you shouldn't be doing it."

"Its to keep her and Alex safe...I can't stop..."Kiane said.

Haru glanced at Vertigo who was sitting across from her. She looked back to Kiane. "I don't want to distract you nii-san. Maybe we should talk about this when your shift is over?"

"It is over, but I can't leave post till people leave.."Kiane said smiling but went behind the counter and put his head down. His cell phone rang, he answered it. "Hello?"Kiane said.

"Oh...That..No I need another day of so...."Kiane said.

Haru sighed, knowing how hard her brother worked. She focused her attention back on Vertigo with a smile. "Sorry about that. It was nice meeting you Vertigo-san..Not to sound forward or anything, but we should hang out some time."

"Tonight?...No I can't agree to that...But maybe we could talk at my parttime job? Take five...yes...allright..."Kiane said hanging up and letting his head fall, into his hands.

kiane looked at the counter..His eye focoused.

Vertigo smiled. "I agree." he chuckled. "Uhm, do we have to go now? I don't want to bother Kiane-san by staying here."

Thre men in black suits, with a man in brimmed old ragged denim jean, walked in. The ignored Haru and Vertigo, and walked to Kiane. Kiane stood up, growling queitly.

"Welcome to take five may I help you?"Kiane said.
"Yea the paperwork Kiane...Its overdue..."The man in ragged denim jeans said, lifting one corner into a smirk.

Haru slightly frowned at the men who came in but didn't say anything. She put on a smile to answereVertigo. "Maybe we should..."

Vertigo looked at the men in suits. He raised an eyebrow. ''And who are those? They dont look like customers to me.'' he told Haru.

"I told you one more day sirs, Noe please take you bisness else where...."Kiane said.

"Those guys...are trouble." Haru said. She gathered her purse and stood, preparing to confront the men who'd been constantly harassing her brother. "You go ahead Vertigo-san, I'll handle this."

The men grinned, the man in denim jeans walked up to Kiane, "Nice attitude...No wonder the bodd likes you..."The boy said.

Vertigo walked past Haru then stopped and stretched his arm to the side to stop her on her tracks. He chuckled and looked at her. "And what do you think a young lady like you can do?" he teased. "Don't worry." he smiled. "I'm spiderman." he chuckled as he placed his hands in his pockets and walked over to them.

He stopped between Kiane and the man in denims, then faced the man. "Hi." he smiled casually. "You do realize that this is a restaurant, and not a boxing ring, right?" he chuckled.

Haru rolled her eyes, but couldn't really argue. What had she been planning to do? She had no idea. She was never the one for confrontation...But she was one for support.
She quickly joined Kiane's side without a word.

Vertigo glanced at Haru and chuckled. Thank god she's not as stubborn as most of the girls out here. he thought.

"Who are you? Some stupid kid?" The man in denims said. "Kiane walked around grabbed the man in demins throwing his out of the restraunt, "Now you two that came with him escourt your selves out....Or I'll toss you out too..."Kiane said, with a angry expresion.

That's right Kiane, tell'em who's boss! Haru's inner self cheered. But she was still worried. If there was anything she knew, it was that they hadn't seen the last of those guys.
Haru stood there awkwardly, looking from Kiane to the men to Vertigo and back again. Her shoulders were stiff while she waited for the men to leave and take the tense atmosphere with them.

One left as the other one went for a hit, Kiane grabbed his fist, "Now NOw thats not nice now is it...."Kiane growled.
