Take Five

"I'm good~" Kiane said, in his normal tone.

"Really? I didn't know that hahaha. Either way you look really good with pink hair." Sigismund said smiling. "So how have you been?" Sigismund asked.

Akahana smiled, "I've been good alittle I bumped in to my old friend~"Akahana said smiling.

Sigismund chuckled a bit, and sat back against his chair. "Who was this old friend?" Sigismund asked.

"Shigeo Shiraga"Akahana said.

Kiane walked in and began to work, after changing into the work uniform. As he worked his mind began to think where was everyone?

Kiane continued to clean and when he finished he waited for a customer.

Haru pulled open the door of Take Five, sounding the little welcome bell. She shivered at the change of temperature and brought her hands to her mouth to warm them. Haru looked around the shop, noting how few people were there. It's been awfully quiet around here...I guess everyone went home for the holidays.
Haru stomped a little snow off her feet before crossing the room to a window-booth. She sat down and rubbed her hands together, still trying to warm up.

Kiane went to the temp box and turned the heat up. he coughed abit, and from the corner of his eye he saw Haru. He coughed again.

Curious as to who else was in the restaurant, Haru turned her head slightly to see where the coughing came from. Her eyebrows raised a bit when she saw Kiane. She smiled and hugged herself, still adjusting to the rising temperature. "Oi, nii-sama~""

Kiane looked at Haru and walked over to Haru and sat beside her but gave her a jacket to keep her warm. "Hiya Haru-Nee" Kiane said covering her mouth and coughed.

Haru gratefully wrapped the jacket around her shoulders. She rarely was affected by the cold and so didn't anticipate that she would need one when she left the apartment. But here she was, freezing. She shivered slightly just remembering the icy trek here. Haru looked to Kiane, who had sat beside her. "Are you okay?"

"...Yea...." Kiane said coughing alittle.

"Are you sure?" Haru asked, instantly concerned. "You aren't sick are you? You shouldn't be working."

"I'm not sick, just a minor cough."Kiane said, coughing after.

"Do you have any tea here?" Haru asked, lightly touching his shoulder. "Minor coughs can get pretty serious. You should drink some tea, then take some medicine and have soup when you get home." Haru wracked her brain for the other advice her mother had given her long ago. "And get a scarf to keep your neck covered."
What could she say? Haru always worried too much.

"I think we're out of tea...."Kiane said.

"Well that's no good." Haru frowned slightly. She shrugged off his jacket and draped it around him. "Stay warm. I'll run over to the shop to bring you some, 'kay?" Haru smiled assuringly at him. Then she stood up and headed for the door. She was dreading the cold that awaited, but right now she was concerned about her brother. She glanced over her shoulder. "Be right back Kiane-nii."

"Haru...Allright" Kiane said, though he wished she wouldn't do somuch for him. He understood her concern.

Haru smiled once more before turning and pushing open the door, letting in a gust of snow chilled air.
Haru took her time trudging down the street and around the corner to her tea shop. It wasn't the snow she disliked, no, she loved the snow. It was the freezing wind that Haru didn't particularly like. But luckily, it died down during her walk. Haru was quick going in her tea shop, where she got a couple boxes for Take Five.
Unfortunately, the wind picked up while she was inside, and Haru's teeth chattered as she started her journey back to the restaurant. Eventually she couldn't feel her feet and decided to jog, hoping to restore the circulation. Bad decision. Just outside Take Five, Haru slipped on a patch of ice, landing hard on her bottom.
When Haru reentered the restaurant, ringing the welcome bell, she was still wincing and her teeth still chattered, but she managed to smile while holding up the tea triumphantly.
"I have the tea." Haru said to Kiane.

"You know you didn't have to..."Kiane said, he noticed her wince before the smile.

"Yeah, well, you know me." Haru laughed sheepishly. She looked around the restaurant. "Um...which door is to the kitchen?"

"..Yea I know how you are...This way..."Kiane said taking her free hand and took her to the kitchen.

Haru smiled up at Kiane and allowed him to lead her to the kitchen. She couldn't help but limp a bit as she walked, seeing as her back was still sore. Once in the kitchen, Haru looked around until she found a teapot. She filled it from the sink, then set it on the stove to boil.

Kiane coughed and whatched her.

Haru went through the cabinets until she found a mug. She set it on the counter, then sighed and turned around to lean against the counter. Haru offered a slight smile to her red-haired companion. "So, nii-sama, how have you been?" she asked the first thing that came to her mind. "You and Alex and Mina-san."
