The Playground.

"I didn't mean like that, Yoru-san..." Haru sweat dropped and put her hands up defensively even though his back was to her. "I'm sorry...You're not a baby."

"I know that," Yoru said, he looked at Haru and smiled, acting like nothing happened. He leaned against a tree and looked at Haru's sisters, "Can I meet them?"

"Sure." Haru smiled, glad he wasn't mad at her. She turned and went over to the swing set. Hanabi and Hanako screamed, afraid they were going to hit her when she crossed in front of them, but Haru had done it enough times to know how far away to stop (she'd learned the hard way). "I'd like you two to meet somebody." Haru smiled and glanced over at Yoru. The twins followed her gaze. They nodded and jumped off the swing in mid air, landing on their feet. Haru frowned, but let it slide for once and led the twins over to Yoru. "Imouto-chans, this is my friend Yoru. Yoru-san, this is Hanabi--"she gestured to the girl with a pink ribbon in her hair "and Hanako." she gestured to the girl with a blue ribbon. The two bowed. "Nice to meet you."

Yoru smiled and bowed also, "Yoru Kuromori. It's nice to meet you too."

Hanabi straightened up and quickly hid behind Haru. Haru sighed at the younger twin's shyness. Hanako was different. She stepped forward and tugged on Yoru's sleeve, looking up at him with a serious expression rarely seen on a nine-year old's face.

Yoru looked down at Hanako and tilted his head, "Yes?"

Hanako glanced at Hanabi, who nodded. Haru just stood there, not sure what to make of the twin-telepathy like communication. Hanako looked up at Yoru and said in her childish yet serious voice. "Are you nice to Nee-chan?"

"Yeah..Why wouldn't I be?" Yoru asked, looking at both Hanako and Hanabi. He rubbed the back of his neck and glanced at Haru.

Haru shrugged, meeting his glance. She didn't know what went on in her sister's head sometimes. Hanako tugged on Yoru's sleeve, wanting him to bend down.

Yoru crouched down and looked at Hanako, "You need something?"

"Haru-nee never has fun." Hanako whispered in his ear. "We want you to be nice to her 'cause she seems sad since Daddy isn't home. And anyone who is mean to Nee-chan...deals with us."Hanako smiled an innocent yet evil smile. Haru saw the smile that she knew too well. "Hanako..." she warned. But Hanako just turned to Hanabi. The two ran back over to the swing set giggling. Haru looked at Yoru. "What did she say?"

Yoru rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't really know..." He looked at Haru and poked her, "Tag your it." He ran over to the slide and stuck his tongue out at Haru.

Haru blinked, wondering if he was serious. Then she rolled her eyes, deciding to go along with it. She ran over to the slide, tagged Yoru, then turned and ran toward a tree. "You're it!" she called over her shoulder. She stick her tongue out as he had.

I walked onto the playground with Mina, and Alex.

"Oi! You caught me off guard," Yoru hollered, running over to the tree.

Mina smiles as she looks around. "What would you like to do first Alex?" Mina asks him curiously.

"Haha sure I did!" Haru called back, starting to climb the tree. "Nyah nyah." she teased childishly looking down at him.

Yoru looked up at the tree, "No fair! That's cheating." He pointed a finger at her accusingly as he pouted like a five year old.

"Fine." Haru laughed at his expression. She carefully climbed back down from the tree, trying not to open the wounds on her hands from last night.

"Need help?" Yoru asked, he held out his arms like he was going to catch a cat.

I laughed,

"I want to swing~" Alex said.

Mina smiles. "Okay then," Mina says going over to the swings with Alex and sets him in a swing and starts to push him.

Haru looked down at him, unsure. "Jump! Jump! Jump!" she looked to see Hanabi and Hanako grinning up at her encouragingly. She hadn't noticed them get off the swing and come see what their older sister was doing.

I walked over to the tree where, i saw two little girls, Yoru, and Haru....

"Haru-Nee, Are you having fun in the tree?" I asked.


Alex went with Mina.

"I won't drop you," Yoru said, he nodded his head and smiled at Haru warmly. "Promise."
