The Ferris Wheel

"Prove it?" Haru blinked. She laughed. "And how am I supposed to do that?"

"I don't know...Prove it..."Cain said.

"Hm..." Haru thought. Then she snapped her fingers and winked at Cain. "Just ask Berry-san."

Cain pouted, "Fine I will then.."

Haru smiled. Internally though, she sighed. She wondered if she'd ever have a guy compliment her. She'd had a couple do so before, but they hadn't been exactly compliments.
Haru glanced at Cain from the corner of her eye as they reached the apartment complex.

Jaylne walked up to the Ferris wheel her hand gently in Usui's as she smiled and blushed slightly.

He looked up at the ferris wheel and smiled.

"Its been awhile since i have been to the amusement park, I didn't plan to go again, however its been fun and better yet i am here with you."

they began to move up in line and eventually it was Usui's and Jaylne's turn.

he held her hand and helped her get in and then followed after her.

Jaylne smiled and sat in one of the Ferris wheels seats, she had a slight blush and watched as they got higher and higher until they stopped at the top of the Ferris wheel. " Oh it seems to have stalled. " Jaylne said looking over at the window and saw the sun start to set.

Usui sat beside her and looked out as the sun was setting.

"So it has - what a nice view up here as well , especially with this sun set, yes?" he smiled.

He looked out to see what was under the sunset, spotting the beach underneath.

"Nice reflection to the water of the beach too"

" Yeah, it's beautiful up here. " Jaylne said smiling and blushing a little darker. " It reminds me of a scene from a romance movie I saw one day. " she said remembering the movie.

"How did it go?" he smiled looking into her eyes interested.

" Well the man wrapped his arms around the woman he loved and as the sunset came down on the beach he kissed her, it somewhat reminds me of my parent's. " Jaylne said smiling blushing darker.

Usui smiled and wrapped his arms around Jaylne, as to what he thought she meant then came in close and stopped before their lips touched.

"like so?"

Jaylne blushed darkly, " Y-y-y-y- yeah. " she said stuttering clear as crystal in her voice. Her crisp orange eyes widened slightly.

He closed his eyes slightly and pressed his lips into her gently.

Jaylne blushed dark red as her heart pounded hard against her chest. Her eyes fluttered shut and kissed back, her hands gently resting against Usui's chest.

He pulled away slowly and look to her happily.

"Did it start a similar way for your parents?" He said as he reached and held her hand, still looking into her eyes.

" Y-yeah just the same in all truth. " Jaylne said smiling and blushing and leaning her head on Usui's shoulder.

"Jaylne, last night - i was thinking about the nightmares that you had and what not. I want to stay with you in that apartment until i get my own - i rather know you're sleeping calm and safe rather then you feeling afraid and lonely" His hand went on her head light with another still on her side, holding her close by.

Jaylne smiled and a small tear slid down the side of hr cheek, " Of course you can. " Jaylne said letting tears of happiness run down her cheeks.

He noticed the tear running down her cheek and caught it.

"I'm glad i met you Jaylne" he said as he kissed her cheek.

" I'm glad I met you to, Usui. " Jaylne said smiling with a small blush dusting her cheeks.

The ferris wheel began to move.

Usui turned to look out at the sunset and the beach reflection once more as he held Jaylne.

"Take one last look from here " he said with a smile.

Jaylne smiled and looked out at the sun set and let her head lean on Usui's shoulder.

Well mom look at your little girl now, I finally found someone to love. Jaylne thought.

It had finally reached the end and Usui had helped Jaylne off.

"Where shall we go now? we still have some time" he said taking her by the hand and smiling to her.
