Alex took the cookie and tuned looking at mereni. he tapped on her, broke the cookie in half, and offered the other half to her, like he did with akira.

i continued to talk to them.

Mereni looked down at Alex and smiled. She knelt down by him and took the other half. "You sure? You know this is a really good cookie, are you sure wanna give it to me?"

Mereni smiled and stood up. "Some may stop and some may not. So how are you and Mina doing? I haven't seen her in a while." She asked, looking at Kiane.
