The Forest

"That's nice," Akihiko jumped down from the branch he was on, landing next to Kuro. He looked up at Mereni and smiled, "How are you liking Ouran so far?"

Mereni peeked her head over the branch and looked at Akihiko and said, "Its nice. School grounds are nice, and the beach here is beautiful. What about you, Akihiko?"

Kuro flinched a bit from the sudden movement, then calmed when he realized it was just Akihiko jumping down. "I never plan on coming outside at night >.< hell, I don't even like being inside at night."

"Then where would you want to be at night?" Akihiko asked, tiling his head sideways.

"I like it so far..it's nicer than I excepted," Akihiko said, looking at all the trees surrounding them.

Mereni nodded and looked at Kuro and said, "I like it outdoors better than in."

Kuro smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head, "I would kind of prefer there wasn't night at all, actually. Or if there were, for it to not be dark.." He laughed a bit, sweatdropping. He thought it was rather embarrassing to be afraid of the dark at 17.

Mereni nodded and swung down on the branch so her legs were holding her up and she was upside down. "Nothing wrong with being afriad of the dark. Is a reasonible fear that everyone has."

"Yup! Everybody has fears," Akihiko said nodding, looking at Kuro. "Not to change the subject and all..but Kuro..we're the same height," Akihiko said, he just now noticed and looked up at the sky.

Kuro shook his head back a forth, closing his eyes, "I'm not afraid of the dark!" He blushed lightly, feeling even more embarrassed than before, he hated his stupid fear. He glanced at Akihiko, noticing as well that they were, in fact, the same height and by the looks of it, age.

(I have to go soon, goin' to the movies ^^)

Mereni raised an eyebrow and asked, "How tall are you guys?"

"Mah mah..Don't be embarrassed," Akihiko said, waving his hand in the air. He glanced at Mereni, "5'8. What about you?"

(yeah what movie?)

Mereni groaned and flipped down. "5' 4''. It sucks."

Kuro puffed out his cheeks in frustration, "I'm not embarrassed! Nehh, you guys are so mean T^T" He looked at Mereni, "Not that short. Etusko is 4"11'," he laughed, her shortness really added to Etusko's personality.

"Myu~ I'm sorry Ku-kun," Akihiko cooed lightly, his face was calm after he said that. "Etusko?"

(Lucky!!!! I wanna see it!)

Mereni shrugged. "But almost everyone I know is taller than me. Ichirou is like 7 inches taller than me."

Kuro crossed his arms and stuck out is tongue, "Forgiven. For now.." He dropped his arms and smiled, showing he was just being playful. He tapped his chin, looking up at the sky, "Hm just a friend. She doesn't attend Ouran." He laughed at Mereni's comment, "Really? I hadn't realized he was that tall."

"Yay!..Never met him," Akihiko said,tilting his head. "Ah is your friend going to attend Ouran?"

(Hopefully. I love the Toy Story series!)

Mereni nodded. "Yep he is, and is she?"

Kuro's smile faltered a bit, "Doubtfully. Besides, she's only 14. Though she might just be smart enough to get in..I don't think she'd leave her mother and her work behind."

"Ah I see..but you never know," Akihiko shurgged. "Oh that reminds me..Do you two know Kazuki Fukukawa?"

"Oh." Mereni bite her bottum lip for a moment and answered, "Yeah. He was one of the first people I met here. Over at the West Gate at school."

"Yeah..Kazuki is one of my best friends," Akihiko said, smiling faintly. "He's nice, ne?"

Mereni nodded and said, "Yes. I haven't found anyone here who isn't."

"Same here..," Akihiko said, thinking of everybody he met. "Hm..what do you want to do now?"

Mereni shrugged. "I was think about going for a swim or something that involves water."
