| Welcome Artists!
As you read in the Employment section, you are able to "sell" your artwork and cross your fingers that people will buy it! Follow these simple steps and you'll be on your way!
1. Create a Topic in the Artist Alley naming it "Your Name's Gallery" ex. Okazaki's Galley. If you don't want to sell your "art" but you just want to put it up for show, please mention it in your post "FOR VIEW ONLY"
2. Post some of your artwork in the Gallery. It can be anything really ^_^ Photoshop Graphics, Drawings, Signatures/Avatars, whatever you want! If you can, I highly suggest you to put a watermark if you can. A watermark is like a copyright. It will stay on the example copy and once the person purchases your art, you can give them the original photo without the watermark. Still try to have a small copyright at the corner though ^_^
3. You make the prices! Try to be reasonable though, if it's too pricey, we probably won't say anything because it is your shop so use your best judgement.
3. And you're on your way to make some cash!
________________________________________________
Rules (Ew Rules TT___TT")
1. Please do not plagiarizer any work. That includes saving pictures and claiming that they are yours, tracing, etc. Please note that someone will find out so save yourself from being embarrassed by not making good choices.
2. Please do not insult a person's artwork. There is a clear different between constructive criticism and an insult. If we catch that, we will have to speak with you.
3. If you want, please make note somewhere in your post that you do commissions. Please state how long it'll take you to do so and please try not to pay the person until you receive your artwork.
4. If you have new artwork, please edit your first post and add on to it. It helps if you type "NEW!". That's it for now! Good luck on your shop and I wish you all the best! | |
