Personality: She is very shy, quiet, sweet, kind, caring, loving, too trusting, very gullible, curious, and stubborn. She likes to be by herself and wants to make friends, but it's hard with her shyness. She is always reading a book or studying by herself.

Past: Amaya has grown up with a normal and average life. But she has never been very outgoing, always quiet and keeping to herself, either reading a book or studying for tests and exams. She has no friends because of this, though her books always keep her company. Whenever her parents are at work, she does all the cooking and cleaning and all the household chores. Though her parents both work, they live a middle class-somewhat close to poor lifestyle. Amaya managed to get into the rich school Ouran through scholarships only. But because of her lifestyle, she can't afford to purchase the uniform. Amaya really wants to become a lawyer like her father.
