The Library

Kuro chuckled, smiling brightly, with a slight nod. "Right. I almost forgot what it was like to have one.." He tapped his chin, "But, Kimi. No, I have not gotten the chance to ask her yet.." Smiles sheepishly, rubbing the side of his neck.

*Giggles and then turns to Akira* "How about you Akira... you got a lover?" *Holds out pinky again*

He blinked at Kuro for a second, he bit his lip feeling slightly proud however, he shook that feeling off knowing that Kuro got punished for it. "You know... I'm wondering if its a good idea for you to hang around me..." He paused and smiled, "But there's so much that you have to see in this world. It makes me think." He wasn't sure how to go on about this. He was surprised at what a tight relationship he created with Kuro. He usually doesn't let people get so close, it was unusual for him to know Kuro for such a short amount of time and be fond of him.

He flushed a bit, but held a stubborn but dull expression, "I'm not really interested in anyone."

*Looks at Akira and smiles and nods* "I understand, and why shouldn't Kuro hang around you, I mean... having friends... it's so much better than being alone... no matter what anyone says" *Pauses and a trickle of water crawls down her face without her noticing it*

Kuro blinked, but his face fell when Akira doubted they should hang together. He hid the feeling however, with indifference, leaning back in his chair with a shrug, "Possibility. But, it's much too fun to not be around you Aki-san." He smiled, closing his eyes, "Besides, it's worth it." It was an odd feeling being so close to Akira, the only other relationship that was as maginified as this was with Etsuko. Maybe it was because they were so alike, the two of them, but they were so different at the same time. It was an interesting change, but also gave him a sense of nostalgia, almost like he could talk to Etsuko through Akira.

He laughed lightly, "No one at all? She doesn't necessarily have to be from Ouran. Have you never found someone in your life that just gave you that feeling...someone that you just couldn't got off your mind no matter how hard you tried?"

He nodded to him. He felt selfish that he was going to let Kuro continue to hang around him. He liked Kuro's company a lot however, he would feel even more selfish if he didn't let Kuro make his own choices. "Just... don't get hurt too much Kuro." He hated the fact that Kuro's parents were strict, to the point where violence had to play a role into it. He wanted Kuro to have more experiences than in the confines of his parent's home.

He blinked at Kuro and scratched the back of his head, "No.. I can't say I do... I never knew many people back then." He was very conservative back then when he was younger. His only friend being Ichirou and that was about it. He wouldn't know if someone like him or if he new someone to like enough back however of course, he had other reasons to not share too much about his personal life.

*Rei looked at the both of them feeling... insecure if she should even be here at the moment, she looked back and forth, she knew the just of the conversation, but she just felt like she shouldn't say something to bother either of them. Rei closed her eyes and then sat down on a chair just watching the both of them*

Kuro nodded with a slight smile, "Thank you Aki-san. I don't plan on many more injuries." He drummed his fingers once on the table, pulling one foot up onto the chair and placing his chin on his knee.

He raised an eyebrow, "You don't seem like the anti-social type Aki-san, is there a specific reason as to why? If you don't mind telling me.." He looked a bit unsure at the last bit, not trying to press too much into Akira's life if he did not wish. Privacy is an aspect he's always wanted, so he had to respect Akira and give him his.

"Well I can see I'm just troubling you boys I better get going school day tomorrow after all" *smiles and walks away* (Night guys tired rp with you tomorrow or later today lol)

Jaylne continued to read the manga she was reading.

(Sorry ;w; sort of fell asleep on the spot. Really sorry man...)

"Specific reason? I wouldn't say it would be narrowed through one specific reason." He rubbed his chin in thought. "I was a very superstitious kid, remember that." he said laughing to himself. There was truth to that. "And I suppose there were... eto... family issues back then." Like any other issue, it started with the family. He didn't talk about it much. It wasn't because he was trying to hide it, it was just disturbing to think about. "And as the issues got deeper, I develop a very indifferent side of myself." He knew it leaked out once in awhile and at times, and sometimes, it would scare him a bit. He most likely wasn't going to give anymore reasons out, since it would get even more personal than he would plan.

Jaylne continued to read the manga.

Kuro was tempted to ask about Akira's family troubles, but it seemed, by the way he referred to them, that that was something he didn't wish to wander into. Instead, Kuro looked at him curiously, "Indifferent side of yourself..like a..shield sort of, or a wall. Used to block out or even, if the situation leads to it, keep in." He tapped his chin in thought, letting his words linger.

(Oh btw, my plans for this weekend changed, I'm not restricted to spend the time only with my parents)

Jaylne continued to read the manga.

He nodded to Kuro's statement in a rational agreement. "You could say that. It is like a buffer for my emotions." He leaned on one of the book cases, crossing his arms lightly. He looked around, realizing more light was hitting in. His nerves had calmed down and were at ease. It was funny how light gave people that sense of security inside. He sighed and decided to progress just a little further on his story, considering how much he trusted Kuro so far. "Have you told you the story as to why my brother and I played with Ouija boards?"

Jaylne continued to read the manga.

Kuro blinked and looked over at Akira, he thought back to the moment on the boardwalk, but nothing came to mind as to why they were using the boards. "I don't believe you have," he raised an eyebrow, suddenly curious as to why, since it had not come to mind before.

Jaylne continued to read the paranormal manga she had gotten.

He cleared his throat and looked back at Kuro, "A long time ago, my mother died. I don't remember how, I was too young to remember. Ever since, my family became more distant towards each other. My brother never spoke to me once and I didn't talk to him either, afraid that the topic of our mother would appear in conversation. One day, my brother found a Ouija board and finally, we started to talk and being young and naive, we thought that by using the board, we could bring back our mother so our family didn't have to be so distant." he looked at the ceiling and sighed to himself. "So ever since, my sanity has been unstable."

Jaylne continued to read her manga.

Kuro stared at Akira silently for a few moments, letting his words process. The sentence that he couldn't help but burn into his mind..So ever since, my sanity has been unstable. He leaned back in the chair, his eyes softening to the point they looked just plain sad. "Aki I have spent my entire life in an enclosure. A cage. I wasn't allowed to be myself." He paused for a moment, then continued a bit more quietly, "But, I found myself. No matter my parents efforts to stop it, I did. I found myself in, so-to-speak, insanity. Etsuko, to be more accurate. She has told me before they've marked her as unstable. Insane. Crazy. But, she was who she was." A small smile tugged at his lips as he looked down at the floor, "I found myself through her. And somehow, since I've been here at Ouran.." He brought his gaze back up to Akira, "I've been me through you. Your mental instability, might actually be the key to our friendship." His smile faltered, he doubted if Akira wasn't like he was they'd still be friends. Brothers..

Jaylne got up and left the library.

He twiddle with his hair, "There's a bit more to this insanity that... could change your views about my Kuro..." He blinked and laughed a bit. "But that should be saved for another time." He smiled and patted Kuro's shoulder. He listened to his words and he felt still for a second. "Perhaps we wouldn't of Kuro..." The thought disturbed him inside, but then he laughed a little bit. "My 'insanity' makes me do pretty crazy things sometimes and I encourage you to be just as spontaneous or at least life your live the way you want to. To be frank, just be happy for me." He ruffled his hair teasingly.

Kuro doubted anything Akira could say or do would cause him to judge him, he was always one to encourage the ones he wasn't supposed to, and doubt the ones he was. He laughed lightly, closing his eyes, it seemed every time he got the least bit of encouragement from Akira, it would light his whole being. "I"m more than happy for you Aki-san, in fact, I'm a bit jealous." He laughed again, though what he spoke was the truth.
