It's Azakeru's own branch of the Family bakery. She likes to cook the food her self, and it usualy smells of baking sweets. It also could work as a cafe with a wall full of books to read while eating sweets and drinking coffee.

Haru followed her nose to the entrance of what she knew had to be a bakery. Jackpot! She was about to go in the door when a guy with dark hair and a long coat came out. She sidestepped at the last second,going around him and into the bakery.
"I'm sorry!" she called over her shoulder, but she wasn't sure if he heard her.
And right now,she didn't care if he did or not. For her attention was somewhere else.
Mmm...
The smell of the sweets filled her nose. She felt as if she were in a wonderland. She'd definately have to bring her younger sisters here sometime.
Haru couldn't wait to eat something and treat her tastebuds, but she wasn't sure if she had to wait to be seated.Just in case,she stood by the door waiting for a server.She hoped she could sit by a window. I Believe I can Fly!

Rae sighed, not really wanting to help the girl... but he, she had to. She worked there. Her eye twitched.

Neh.

Rae walked over to the door. "Table for one?" She smiled trying to make the customer feel more comfortable, maybe if she had a nice experience more people would like to come... and more money for her. "Hmmm just choose were you want to sit, I don't think it'll really matter." Rae handed her a menu and yawned.

Azakeru yawned, she was once again asleep in the kitchen while waiting for some sweets to finish baking.

Haru smiled graciously at the waitress. Being the observant person she was,she noticed the slight eye twitch and yawn. She knew all too well when someone was pretending to be nice, thanks to previous experiences. But Haru said nothing to point this out. She had a feeling the girl was tired and put out with dealing with customers. Knowing not to take the girl's reluctance personal, Haru gave a simple "Thanks" before taking the menu and going over to sit in a window booth.
She sat there pouring over the menu,trying to decide exactly which delicious treat she was in the mood for. I bet I seem like a total ditz, sitting here unable to make up my mind about food. Deciding to just pick something random and cheap, since she still had to go shopping for dinner for her family, Haru chose vanilla cake. She raised her hand hesitantly for the waitress's attention. She didn't want to be a bother but...

Rae tapped her foot looking around and wondering what day it was exactly in the month.
She saw the girl raise her hand. "Yes?" She walked over and pulled out the ordering book. "Do you need something.... a question maybe?" Rae stared blankly at the girl, pen in hand ready to write something down. Something shiny caught her eye and she looked out the window absentmindedly.

...what was that?

"Hmmm? What would you like?" She looked back to Haru.

"Hey...Rae, we have a customer right?" Azakeru asked, poking her head out from the kitchen. "When did that happen?" She asked.

Rae looked back, the girl was taking awhile to decide. "Oh... it's been a customer every few days... nothing too busy."

"Oh. IS there anything else we need made?" Azakeru asked, taking some sweets out of the oven. "Because I'm working on Mochi after this." She added.

"Sorry...kind of zoned out there for a sec, hehe..." Haru scratched the back of her head, hoping she didn't seem like a weirdo. "Um...can I have one slice of vanilla cake?"

"Yeah sure." Azakeru said, going back in to the kitchen and begining to work on the cake. "Might be about half an hour if you want it fresh from the oven." She called.

Aiko walked inside the small shop and smelled the room. Mm..I love shops like these! She smiled and took a seat in a table of one.

Rae yawned quietly and walked over to the table. She pulled the ordering book out of her pocket.

WHAT KIND OF SERVING UNIFORM IS THIS?! THE POCKET IS TOO HIGH!

"I would like a small green tea," She looked at the Cake section of the menu "and a slice of vanilla cake please" She smiled at the waitress who seemed a little tired.

Rae blinked and looked back down at ".... tea and vanilla cake?" Her eyes were a little watery from yawning so much. "Is that all?"

She must be exhausted from work. Maybe school? She thought. "Yes, please" she smiled and set the menu down. She heard something buzzing, and checked her purse. She decided to answer the text, but put it away quickly before it looked rude.

Aiko nodded and watched her walk away. She was glad to rest for a while, walking all day was normal, but she hadn't done it in a while.

Rae sighed, bringing over the plate, and deciding to sit down in the booth across from the girl. "So..... who are you? A new student?"

She watched the waitress sit down in the booth across from her. Surprised, she nodded. "I'm Aiko, Yamagata Aiko. Nice to meet you." Aiko bowed her head a little.

Aiko took a sip of her tea. "Sometimes there's not much things to do." Right after she said that, she remembered she had to buy some groceries. She had barely eaten any of her cake, and didn't mind having a conversation with the waitress. She stayed, and remembered she didn't know her name. "Sorry if you've told me before, but you're name..?"

While waiting for her vanilla cake, Haru glanced over at the waitress who'd taken her order. The tired looking girl had seated herself in a booth across from a female customer who'd just walked in. The two had started a conversation. Haru frowned, and then looked away. She wouldn't admit to herself that she was kind of jealous. I wish I could start conversations with strangers that easily.
Haru pushed her glasses up on her nose and went back to staring at the window.

(Having to use my mom's office computer, I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post for a while.)

Aiko wasn't very good with people, but Rae looked like she was working hard and really needed something to do.
"When does this shop close? Maybe we can go shopping later if you want" she smiled, hoping to get a good response. She barely met her, she didn't know if she wanted to hang out with her or not. Aiko looked around, not sure what to do. She noticed there were other customers, and looked back.
Am I holding her from her work..?

Rae shook her head. "I don't really want to do anything after work other than sleep....." She sighed, going back to the kitchen and getting the cake for both the customers that had ordered a piece.
