The Gym.

Vertigo smiled as she finally slept. He removed his hand from her ear and gently leaned her against the wall. He began unbuttoning his coat and took it off, then placed it on top of her. "Rest well." he whispered followed by a smile.

Berry wraps the coat around like a blanket she was so warm she smiles in her sleep shw hoped in her mind she would stay smiling not screaming

Vertigo stood up and stretched his arms. Now I feel like sleeping as well. he thought as he chuckled. He moved over to his bag and took a bottle of water, opened it and drank.

Berry contiues to sleep but whimpers in it...

Vertigo glanced at Berry. He walked over to her and sat beside her, observing.

Berry flinches in her sleep adn whimpers more...

Vertigo lowered his eyebrow. She was definitely having a nightmare. He moved in front of her and gently shook her shoulders. "Berry-san." he said lightly.

Berry screamed as he shook her then woke up "What..what....Oh it's you Vertigo.." she looks down and thinks 'why did I have to dream about that again..'

Vertigo looked at her with an anxious expression. "What happened? What did you dream of?" he asked.

Berry looks ar him and blushes lightly "Oh what..me no I didnt dream of anything...you cant make me talk." berry thinks 'oh smooth berry just smooth...he'll never thing anything is wrong now'

Vertigo looked at her. He smiled. "Don't worry. I won't force you to talk if you don't want to. What you dreamt of might have been personal issues that you don't want to talk about." he chuckled and patted her head. "Don't worry, it's alright. I won't barge in to your personal life. But at the very least, ask me if you need help in something. I'll always be here." he smiled.

Berry looks at him "No fair I hate when poelpe do I always talk! I'd be a horrible crimial!" she giggles and says "I need to tell you....I keep have this drwam over and over..It's so weird but I get scared..I think it has something to do with my childhood.."

Vertigo looked at her. "What is it all about anyway?"

Berry looks at him and takes a deep breath "I think its about what happened when my mom and dad...Its horrible it almost feels like a messed up version of alice in wonderland..there's blood everywhere...I hated blood..and there are people yelling at me and trying to hurt me..I try to run but they always get me.." she shakes from the fear.

Vertigo pulled her into a hug. He patted her head. "Hey, don't force yourself. It's alright if you don't want to tell me. If it's too hard for you, you don't have to." he smiled. "I'm fine with knowing that at least you're safe."

Berry smiles "No I need to tell you maybe I wont have the dream anymore..But that's pretty much my whole dream..Before I find anything important or not scary I wake up screaming.."

Vertigo sighed. "If it's not too much to ask, maybe you could tell me what really happened. In your childhood that is." he looked at her. "Maybe we'll figure out what's causing these dreams."

Berry looks at him and says "Thats the problem I cant remeber my childhood..."

Vertigo blinked. "Oh. Now that's hard." he patted her head. "I guess your dreams have something to do with your past then. Haven't you tried asking your relatives?"

Berry looks ay him "Their all died...so that makes it hard....I only rember bits and pieces of my past...I remeber somethings clearly but there not that pretty or nice..I only remeber how they died..Like my friend Adam...I dont remeber how my mom and dad died but Adams mom said they died in a car crash.." then places her head on his chest

Vertigo comforted her. "I see. But I have a question though. Your friend Adam. He's already gone? But I thought." he scratched his head. "Well, you talk about him like he's still living, so I thought he lives with you or something."

Berry giggles "Adam died a year ago in a car crash..But he's here just not human like or what ever...It's like he's a ghost..And am the one keeping him here he cant leave until I remeber everything...I know it sounds weird but am not crazy!"

Vertigo smiled. "It's alright." he patted her head. "I believe you. I had a friend who had the same situation." he smiled. "But I'm sorry about what happened to him and your relatives. But looking on the brighter side, at least they're on a much better place right now." he smiled.

Berry smiles "I know that. I just I wish I had one family member left..But I always have a feeling like I have a sister or something..Adam doesnt even know if I do...The only people who would know that would be my parents.." then she giggles adn pokes his tummy "BUt you was have to look on the bright side of things!"

Vertigo chuckled. "But I do look at the bright side of things. I'm an optimist." he smiled. "Hey, if you want, I can help you research about your past. I'm sure there has to be some records about what happened few years ago about your family."
