"I got slammed... no big deal" *Rei takes the ball and throws it from the other side of the court and makes it in* "That should tie it up*

Ame smiled,"Okay...1-1"

With his tall height, he was able to jump and smack the ball from mid air, dribble it down the court and making it in the hoop.

*Rei smirks and takes the ball and slams passed Ichirou and shots the ball making it in*

(same here, you eat early)

While she dribbled pass, he was able to snatch the ball up, twist around and make the shot.

Ame sweatdropped, Ichirou was relentless!

"Ichirou 3 Rei 2"

*Rei smirks* "Not bad Ichirou... I would highly recommend you for the basketball team"

"I was already on the basketball team. There's no basketball team at Ouran. Are we done?"

He picked up the rolling basketball, holding it between his arm and side.

"Well not yet... and only if your tired, I'm still waiting for the person who has the ball"

*Rei couldn't believe how much she was reminded of her past because of this person before her, but of course she knew he wasn't going to be easy to befriend*

He went ahead, faking to go left but instead when right and threw the basketball high and into the hoop.

Afterwards, he went to block Rei's way.

*Rei swung her back dribbled the ball between Ichirou's legs and caught it behind him and dribbled down to the hoop and shot making it in the net*

Ichirou claimed the ball, dribbled it back to center court and made the shot from there.

"Well... it's clear to see whose superior... I forfeit... congrats Ichirou... Of course I kind of knew I didn't stand a chance" *Rei grabs the ball and passes it back to him*

He finally spoke, with a deep tone.

"You aren't so bad yourself though."

He caught the ball with ease and continued to make shots as he was doing earlier. Ichirou wiped his forehead with the back of his hand.

"Thanks... so you like it here so far?" *Rei sat at the benches using a towel to whip her forehead*

"Yeah. You?"

Ichirou dribbled the basketball between his legs, behind him, side to side, as well as other methods. His breathing accelerated after playing for a while, beads of sweat dripping from his head.

"Yeah, but I'm getting really nervous... Mizune-sensei says not to worry... but I can't help it being the assistant teacher..." *Rei puts the towel over her head to get the sweat out of her hair*

"You're an assistant teacher?"

He hadn't even bothered to find out the name of his sensei, then to know all the senseis of Ouran. Ichirou made on last shot, then dribbled the ball back to the storage room. He walked to the vending machine in the gym, inserting a few coins to get a bottle of water. He removed it from the machine, uncapped it, and drank almost all of it down.

*Rei walked over and looked at him with an eyebrow raised* "What does that bug you or something? It's no big deal is it?"

"It doesn't bother me. What do you do, as an assistant teacher?"

Finishing the bottle of water, he tossed it in the trash and made his way to the bleachers to sit and cool down.

*Walks along side him just looking at the ceiling and then sits back down* "That's the thing... because classes haven't officially started yet I'm just here making sure everyone is comfortable and safe... so basically nothing right now"

"Right."

Odd, she looked young enough to be a student at Ouran, actually. He flexed his fingers, from playing basketball for a period of time. Ichirou ran his hand through the hair that covered up his eyes, flipping it so that it wasnt in the way for now.

"Hmm.... So I was talking with Ame... she said you like numbers... you like math?"

{lol sorry lame convo... but brb I have to quickly do soemthing}

"Yeah. My dad's an accountant and business owner, so I guess I got it from him."

His voice had a tone of disgust when he mentioned his dad, for some reason.
