The Gym.

(Sorry for a late reply. My computer restarted on me.)

"Not to surpass him..something else."

His right hand balled up into a fist self-consciously. Ichirou stood up, stretching his arms a bit. He became hungry after playing, and needed to find a place to eat at instead of that bakery and what lies cooked for him at his apartment.

"Something else? Hmm? You going to go now?"

{It's ok}

"It's nothing. And probably. I got to go find a place to eat dinner at. Akira's no good at cooking, and I doubt Shi cooked anything today either."

Ichirou picked up his coat. Being still hot and sweaty, he slung the jacket over his shoulder.

"Well if you want, I'll cook you something, I cook for my roommate all the time"

Ichirou thought about it for a moment, accepting food from a stranger. He shrugged to himself, it was free afterall. And he didn't have to spend time looking for a fast food restaurant.

"Sure. Thanks."

"Sure follow me to Apartment 132" *Rei smiles and walks*

He followed her silently, leaving the gym.

I kept running on the treadmill.

Ichirou walked back into the Gym, grabbed a basketball from the storage room, and dribbled it down the gym to the center of the basketball court.

Ichirou dribbled the ball further and further from the hoop, to about half of the court's mark. He tried to make half court shots, getting only 1 out of 3. Ichirou continued to practice, running to grab the ball after it hits the hoop and is knocked onto the ground.

Ichirou had gotten slightly irritated. He could only make a few half court shots, a majority of them missing. He started to dribble the basketball faster, the sound echoing off of the walls of the gym.

When Jaylne went to get off the treadmill, her shoelace got caught and she tripped and fell " ouch " she said.

He watched the girl fall, snickering silently. Ichirou stopped making half-shots, now just dribbling the ball around the gym, with his neck bent so he was looking at the ceiling.

Jaylne stopped the machine and got her shoelace out of the treadmill then took her sweater off and laid it on a chair then got out a tennis ball and a racket and walked onto the gym floor and threw the ball against the wall then hit it back.
But as she did her scar like dragon birthmark showed on her back, arms, slightly legs, and neck.

With his keen sight, he was able to see the birthmark, but made no mention of it. He continued to dribble, shooting far from the hoop and making his way closer. Ichirou tested out his agility here and there, faking right then going left, and vice versa.

Jaylne then saw the tennis ball go a little farther then she expected and rebounded on one hand and hit the ball with the racket with the other hand, sorta in a hip-hop style.

He wiped his forehead with the back of his hand, his breathing quickening. Ichirou made shots here and there, making most of them in or hitting it off the backboard.

Jaylne got up quick and hit the tennis ball back and forth, sweat was dripping off her face.

Ichirou ran his hand through his hair to get it out of his face. He made on last shot at the hoop, then dribbled the basketball back to the storage room. He made a habit of playing basketball daily, and always grabbing a water bottle at the vending machine. Ichirou inserted a couple coins into the machine, pressing a few buttons. The machine dropped 2 bottles of water. Ichirou slid his hand through the vent to grab them both. He rolled one of the waterbottles at the girl across the gym, the bottle hitting the wall before stopping.

Jaylne then grabbed the tennis ball and picked up the water bottle " thanks " she said across the court. Then she walked over and sat on a bench and opened the water bottle and took a drink, her long and short sided black hair was sticking to her from sweating.

He sat a few feet away from her, on the bleachers. Ichirou uncapped his waterbottle with one motion.

"No problem."

He drank the water in gulps.

One of the birthmarks on Jaylne's shoulder was a spiked dragon blowing flames.

He took notice in the birthmark once again, but continued to gulp down his water.

Jaylne set her water bottle down " what do you make of my birthmark " she asked " I know you were looking at it so what do you make of it " she added.
