Dining Room

Akira casually walked into the Dining Room. His eyes scanned the area, trying to find where the food was. A sweet armoa lured him towards the food however, he stopped in his tracks and realized that he probably didn't have enough money to buy the food here at Ouran. The thought depressed him slightly. He threw himself on a chair and leaned his head on the table a little hopeless and slightly annoyed with himself.

Shi's tray was interesting. His grandfather gave him information on Ouran's food. He was not too picky. The tray had more food than what he knew. Would Akira be willing to share his dinner tray with him? There was rice, fish, chicken, fruit, veggies, and dessert. The dessert was not as big and was simply green tea ice cream.
But no berries...
"Oh, Akira," Shi said. He grabbed a seat across the table. "I need a favor from a growing boy." His hand pushed the tray then cut all the food in half. "Mind eating the other half?" Their meal proportions could make two people full or three people satisfied.

Akira turned his head towards Shi and a bright smiled appeared on his face. He sat up and looked at the tray of food in awe. It was like a summary of his week's worth of food and maybe more.
He looked up at Shi and scratched his head

"Well, its better than leaning my head on the table, waiting for the drool from my mouth to accumulate!" He paused for a second before diving in for the food "Thank you Shi-san, you may be mischievous however, you have a kind heart." He laughed at his cheesy comment but none the less, he meant every word of it.

"I prefer home cook meals," Shi said, "Fancy meals such as this...is over-exaggerating in my opinion." He picked at a pea pod then ate it. Vegetables are never a nuisance to eat. Well his mother and grandmother's cooking made it easy to enjoy them. The pea pod personally made him want to choke. It was not his families specially cooked vegetables. It was a home-sick reaction he guessed. "Me mischievous?"

I never do such things unless I have to...

"Kind heart?"

Psh. Please.

"Nevermind," he said, "And you didn't have to wait for me to come to buy some food, but I'm glad you did so I could share mine."

Akira rested his cheek on his hand. He blinked twice and looked at the food. He started to take some chicken onto his plate. He took a bite and and a warm feeling of satisfaction overcame his body. He started to chew and looked back at Shi.

"I can't say what I prefer, I'm not too picky when it comes to food." He noticed Shi questioning his comment. His eyes filled with curiosity. He took another bite into his chicken.

"Perhaps not? I suppose I'm judging from first impression, but I'm also curious to hear how you describe yourself." He wiped his mouth and gulped. "Trust me, if I could afford half the things here at this school, I probably wouldn't have waited, but don't get me wrong..." He reached over from some vegetables and placed them on his place "I'm grateful".

"Afford?"

Shi took it slow then gradually grasp what it was. Is Akira saying he was a scholarship student? He's never met one till this moment. OK. He has finally saw someone attending Ouran that's a scholar. Was there a difference? His grandfather paid for him, but he wasn't rich, his grandparents were. Then there's the student who has limits.

"I had no idea you were a scholarship student," Shi said, "Honestly, I would have not known unless situations lead me to what the cause and effects are."

Shi pointed a thumb to himself casually. "My grandfather is paying for me other than that I'm nowhere near rich." His fingers then entangled themselves. He was planning to explain his money situation. Being buddies who even decided to share an apartment he better make sure his roomie had an idea on his family household. "My mother was not given an inheritance, her father and even my own father were quite sexists so to speak," he said and cringed when he said father, "Money was a constant issue, my father bought alcohol whenever he could, and my mother relied on my older siblings while wishing she had the money to run, but our father could step in to force her to stay."
"Money is...an anti-hero," Shi concluded.

Akira continued to eat and then paused at the words "Scholarship Student". He wasn't exactly proud of it, but it wasn't ashamed of being called one either. He scratched the corner of his his mouth sweatdropping. He didn't exactly know what to say next. He was a little disappointed how he hinted that he was indeed a Scholarship Student, but he didn't mind if Shi knew. Akira listened on to his story, forgetting that the food was there for a sec. He looked down on his plate thinking for a moment and realized that Shi and him had some common ground.

"Your story is very similar to mine. Not exactly the same, but I'm glad that we can be buds and trust each other this sort of thing. That's pretty cruel to base someone off of sex. Thats very interesting what you just said there. 'Money is an anti-hero.'"

His eyes dulled out has he entered into a state of melancholy. Akira felt a similar situation however, maybe not as intense as Shi. He quickly returned back to reality and looked at Shi.

"But one things for sure, we judged each other by our personalities rather than social status when we met, so the Hell with money."

"Yeah," Shi said sticking his spork (lol) onto his empty side of the tray. "Well, ready to hit the waters?" He grinned. "Oh, do you want to go into them men's spa or the mix?" Yes, he can respect women and have an eye for them too. It takes practice he'll admit. There's a boat so to speak. Too much respect or disrespect can have hefty consequences.

He wiped his mouth with his sleeve and nodded. He started to remember something about a 20 minute rule before going into waters, but who does that anyway. He shurgged to himself and replied.

"Sure, lets g-" He paused for a second and heard Shi's suggestion for the mixed bath. He scratched the back of his head. He started to argue with his consciousness whether to take the offer for the mix bath or not.

"Lets go in the mixed bath." Obviously, With no restraint or self-control. He got up and gestured him. Alright, lets go Shi-san.

In a nearby chair a girl eating a made lunch she brought, her black snowflake necklace dangling around her neck as she ate, her long and short sided hair in her face as well.

Mizune entered the Dining Room through the south entrance, sitting diagonal from Akatsuki. She carried a tray of gourmet food, and set it down on the table with ease.

Jaylne looked up at the corner of her eye then looked back down and continued to eat her lunch. A part of her dragon shaped birth mark showed on her neck, it was the tail of the dragon.

Mizune noticed the slight glance and cleared her throat. She wasn't very sociable, but being a sensei, she knew she would have to talk one time or another.

"Good Afternoon."

She proceeded to eat a biscuit, not leaving the slightest of a mess.

" Afternoon " Jaylne said in her deep yet soft and sweet voice.

So much for that...

Mizune swept her hand, placing a lock of hair behind her ear, and continued to eat the food off her tray silently, taking a sip of her drink occasionally.

Jaylne took a sip of some sweet tea she had in her lunch, and continued to eat her food.

She forked a piece of cut watermelon, eating it and watching the girl out of the corner of her eye, without turning her head. Mizune's sharp eyes dropped down to Akatsuki's badge, indicating that she was going to be a student of 2A.

Another student of my class? This encounter iss...so much different then yesterday's with Akira.

Then Jaylne got up and packed her stuff up and went to go to her class.

She heard the footsteps gradually fade, throwing at her trash, and leaving the tray for the attendants to clean.

She rubbed the back of her neck as she left the room.

Jaylne walked then saw a group of girls walk into the music room, " whats all this about " Jaylne asked one of the girls.

" It's the host club " one girl said.

i entered the dinning room with my hands holding one of fang's hands.
"told you i knew where the cafetiria is!" i beamed to fang smiling

"Yay!!! Food!!!"

Fang threw his arms in the air.

i laughed. my stumache growled. "looks like i am hungry comeon lets go!" i said grabbing one of his hand and dragging him with me to get something to eat.

Fang fills his face with food and then began choking. He pulls out a water bottle and chugs it and begins eating again.
