Playground

Yoru laughed and ran around the playground just for fun.

Sumiko looked at him and chuckled, "Bleed to death from falling at the playground?" She toook off her coat and set it on the ground and lifted the back of her shirt to look at the cut, "See? It's nothing." She reached into a compartment in her belt and took out a large bandaid, putting it over the semi-deep cut that would probably make another girl cry.

Yoru shrugged and chuckled too, "Well you never know..it could happen." He sat down and looked up at Sumiko, "Whatever you say."

Hidaka walked through the park and sat on a swing. "It's hot~," she whined. Of course it's hot, she told herself. You're wearing all black, dumbass! She facepalmed and glared at the ground.

Hidaka groaned and stood up from the swing. "Boring," she muttered and walked off.

Mereni walked onto the playground and over to the swings. She sat down on them and softly pushed off the ground, swinging a little.

Lelouch walked in, and looked around, "Hey" he said spotting Mereni, and walking over to her

Mereni looked up and saw Lelouch. She smiled and said, "Hey Lelouch. How are you?"

He looked down to his red hands, and laughed, "i'm doing very well, yourself?" he asked turning back to her

Mereni smiled and said, "Doing ok. I get the cast off tomorrow, which means I will be swimming for the day." She looked at Lelouch's hands and asked, "Were you painting or something?"

He gave a soft laugh, "No, I had a fight with a old friend, is all" he said smiling

Mereni nodded softly and said, "Ah..." She push off the ground again and smiled softly.

"Are you okay? you seem a bit down" he asked concerned

"Me and Akihiko are taking a break and it just seems lonely at my apartment." Mereni replied in a whisper, looking at the sky.

"Oh, i'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry" he softly, not sure what to say

Mereni smiled softly and said, "No its ok. I've been wanting to get it off my chest for a while." She looked at the ground and said, "When I'm up its fine if I keep my mind busy, but when I'm asleep.....it sucks."

"Yer" he agreeing, trying to imagined him sleeping alone, "That would would get lonely" he said softly

Mereni smiled softly. "Though I shouldn't be complaining. Akihiko is probably going through the same thing."

He just nodded and looked up at the sky, sill trying to figure out what to say

Mereni smiled sadly and pushed off the ground, swinging again.

He stared to swing with her, smiling as he did so

"So....how are you and Kate?" asked Mereni, looking at the ground.

"Were doing well" he said, in a sly tone, looking at the ground, smiling

Mereni smiled. "That's good."

Mereni walked onto the playground and smiled softly. She walked to the swings and sat down, looking at her cast. "I get you off today."

Kate walked on and sighed.
