Playground

First topic message reminder :

Yoru laughed and ran around the playground just for fun.

"We........could............set the playground on fire" he said laughing

Kairi laughed and laid down."I'm not giving anything that can be set on fire to you...ever!!!"She said still laughing lightly.

"Neither would I" he said, laughing softly, "So tell me about your past" he said looking over to her

Kairi looked at him a little suprised because of the question but then turned to the sky."There isn't much to tell...Well my parent died in a car crash when I was five,for some reason I survived."She muttered and closed her eyes."The my aunt took me in and took care of me until...until I came here.I decided it was time to move on and start a new life so I came here."

"Oh, is that why you smile so much? To hide your pain and sorrow?" he asked softly

On her face fount it's way a little smile."Nah not really...At first it was to stop my aunt from worrying...But then I found out that my smile can bring smiles to others.So that's the main reason."Kairi said and shook her head lightly as her memories ran back to the car crash.

"Oh, but are you really happy?" he asked, "You know false smile brings pain to oneself" he said softly

"That's way I try my best so it won't be a face smile."Kairi said in a somewhat happy voice.

Lelouch shrugged, "Well whatever works for ya" he said, laying back down

Kairi turned to look at him."What about your past?...I don't know much about it."

Lelouch sighed, "It's cold, dark and a terrible memory, but if you what to know, I'll tell you" he said softly, looking into her eyes

Kairi shook her head lightly returning his look."If it's hard for you to talk about it and don't want to,I won't force you."She said and gave him a warm smile.

Lelouch said nothing, but looked away, and breathed heavily, as if trying to let something go

Kairi looked at him concerned.She stood up and went to him sitting beside him.She gave him a friendly hug trying to comfort him."It's ok,you don't have to talk about it.Think of all the happy memories you have made here."She said and patted his head lightly.

Lelouch hugged her tightly, burring his head in her shoulder, as tears swell up in his eyes, "Thanks" he said softly, before he started to cry lightly

"You're welcome."She said softly still patting his head and leaving him cry on her shoulder as she knew it will make him feel at ease after a while.

Lelouch cried for a few minutes, before pulling away and wiping his ears off his face, "I'm sorry you had to see that" he said softly

"It's nothing.Don't worry about it."She said and gave him a warm smile."You know when I get sad I try to remember all the happy memories I have and that way I don't feel so down anymore."Kairi said but decided it would be best if she adds something funny."A wise man once said:"When I get sad I stop being sad and be awesome instead!""

Lelouch smiled, but the quickly faded, "The problem is I have very few happy memories, unlike you, most of my friends are either dead, missing or hates me....." he said softly

Kairi looked at him a little shok on her face.There was no sign of smile on her face."Well there is Kate..."She said and shook her head as she ran his words through her head again."And I doubt that anyone here hates you"She said kind of angry which as a first to be seen."You have friend here! If you don't believe it look aroud...there is one standing just infront of you!"

(sorry about the answear but I'm kind of in the mood 'cause I'm writting such a story xD)

Lelouch stood up, "I know and I appreciate that, but I was referring to my old friends, and I've already had one attack one my life by a 'friend'" he said kinda angry

Kairi stood up as well."Well then these so called "friends" of yours don't have a place in your life."She said and looked at him in the eyes."The past is something you can't change,no matter how hard you try.But you can try and make something now...make more happy memories,make friends you can thrust,friend who won't try to kill you."She stopped talking for a while but then shook her head and sat back down."I'm sorry,it's your life...You know what's best for you..."A small sigh left her as she closed her eyes.

Lelouch took a deep breath, "I know, their are so many things I wish could take back......but I can't...." he said softly, "And your right, I do need to move on, but......sometimes the past comes back to hunt you....." he said as he sat down, "And the ones I love might get hurt......"

Kairi nodded in understanment.She could only imagine what he was going through."That's why we have to protect each other..."She muttered as she was reffuring to that that someone has to protect his or hers friends.

Mereni walked onto the playground and ran for the slides. She climbed up the small ladder and slid down the slide.
