Ame stopped at the gates to the playground. A tired and hurt expression on her face. She looked around with her dull blue eyes. She saw Mereni and walked towards the slides where she was at.

Mereni stood up from the bottom of the slide and looked around. She saw Ame walking towards her and Mereni smiled. "Hey Ame!"

She gave a light way, "Hey there. What's up?" she asked looking at Mereni.

"Walking aimlessly around." she said laughing lightly. She gave her a tired look, "I haven't been sleeping well."

"My mother gave me a call a couple of weeks ago while I was in Spain." she said, "She told me that she had been looking for someone to marry her. She is pregnant."

Ame shook her head, "My mother wants nothing to do with me." she said looking away, "She wants to prove that that child is better than me."

She hugged Mereni back, "I look nothing like my mother. I resemble my father." she said before sighing, "My mother has always wanted a child that looked like her."

"He got back from visiting his parents a few days ago. That was the last I saw him, really." Mereni replied, looking at the sky.
