Yoru laughed and ran around the playground just for fun.

Kairi streched her hands up and the butterfly flew away."I wonder what I should ask you..."She said and turned to him."How about a part of your past...which ever you choose."

Vertigo followed the butterfly with his eyes. He chuckled. "My past? Hmm. But there's nothing that interesting in my past though." he scratched the back of his head and slightly laughed.

"Even better..."She said and smiled at him."That way you'll be able to tell me everything in a few sentences."Kairi tunred to the sky and closed her eyes."I'm listening."

Vertigo looked up and thought of a good memory. then chuckled. "How about the tale of the man who can never move on?" he laughed.

Kairi nodded with a smile.She momved a little on the ground searching for a more comfortable spot.When she found it she laid still preparing to listen to the story.

Vertigo chuckled and laid back on the ground. "Well, it all started with this, hmm, evil prince." he laughed. "Growing up alone and with a rather unpleasant relationship with his family, he never knew how to love nor be loved. And due to his parents' actions, he basically adopted their ways." he smiled. "Basically, he likes to please everyone, but break them in the end."

"He would make every girl he meets fall in love with him, so deeply, that he will be the only person that would matter to them. And when he'd finally had his fun, he will simply tell them straight to the face, that he had never meant a single word he'd said, and that, he's already done playing. Well, that continue on for years until,"

He yawned. "Hey, you still awake?" he chuckled.

"Hnn..."Kairi muttered and turned aside so her face was towards him but she had her eyes still closed."Go on...I like the story..."

Vertigo rubbed his eyes, and smiled. "..until he met the young princess of the neighboring kingdom." he shrugged. "Well, it didn't go as good with the first meeting, but nevertheless, their relationship deepened with the passage of time. And unknown to the prince, he was actually falling in love. Because that princess is special. She had some magical thingy that can change a person's heart." he chuckled.

"Anyhow, the time finally came, when the prince wanted to finally confess to the girl about his feelings. He prepared his confession in the magical garden, where commoners usually regard it as one of the most romantic place to do so." he smiled. "And when they finally met on that night, when he had told her everything about his feelings, she turned him down." he chuckled.

"Apparently, that princess needed to go somewhere since,hmm, since his father had claimed another kingdom for them to stay there. And the prince never knew where or why. Though she feels the same about him, I guess it just couldn't be helped." he shuffled his hair. "So yeah. The heartbreaker just experienced his first heartbreak." he smiled. "And learned from that."

"He finally knew and experienced what it felt like, and how painful it hurts. So he decided that he'll never hurt anyone ever again, physically or emotionally. And so several years passed and he had completely changed. But he never had a single lover. Because he was still waiting for the girl back then. Hoping that they'll somehow meet again. He can't even remember her face nor her name. But he just kept waiting."

"The End." he chuckled.

KAiri had opened her eyes half way through the story.She stayed silent for a bit thinking on the story with emotionless face."Your the prince..."Kairi muttered while looking at one cloud right above her.

Vertigo looked at her. Then chuckled. "No. That's just something my mom told me when she wanted me to go to sleep." he laughed and shuffled his hair. "You said you wanted something related to my past, so there you go. The fairy tale that my mom tells me before bedtime." he gave a smile.

Kairi smiled as her eyes closed on their own."Well it sure can make someone fall asleep she said and placed one hand underneath her head so she could get more comfortable."It was a pretty story...wonder if anyone can change like that?"Kairi said almost half asleep.

Vertigo narrowed his eyes, but smiled. "Who knows?" he chuckled and looked at her. He smiled and sat up, then unbuttoned his coat and moved over to her as silent as he could, and placed the coat over her. He stood and stretched his arms, yawning a bit.

Kairi felt something being placed on her and she brought her knees to her chest so it will cover her hole body and smiled at the warmth."You know...I think I'm falling...asleep..."She muttered and before she knew it she was sleeping.

Vertigo looked over her, then chuckled. "Sleep well then." he thought and sat beside her and leaned on the tree. He took out something from his bag, a book, and started to read.

Kairi shuffled a little having some dream. The time she was sleeping was the best for her as she had quite a big imagination and everything she had read about or heard about came to live in her head. She placed her hand over her face for no known reason as she continued to sleep.

Vertigo's eyes shifted to Kairi, and he stared in wonder. But blinked and continued to read. "It doesn't look like she's having a nightmare so far." he chuckled as he thought.

Kairi made a little sound and not long after she opened her eyes as she took a deep breath.When she finally realised it was only a dream she closed her eyes again and let her breath go returning to normal breathing. "I should stop watching so much fantasy movies..."She muttered with a smile.

Vertigo chuckled. "So what did you dream about? You were chased a tiger and saved by a wolf?" he laughed, eyes still fixed on the book.

Kairi shook her head and turned around so she was looking at him."No...I dreamed the story you told me.But there was a dragon who...who finally killed the princess.And then I started falling in some black hole and...well I woke up."She said and smiled at him

Vertigo narrowed his eyes and snapped his book shut rather a bit hard. He turned to her and smiled. ''So the princess died in the end huh?" he chuckled. Then shrugged. ''So who are you in the story? The main heroine? Some commoner? Or the narrator perhaps?"

Kairi jumped up when he slammed the book closed.She looked from it to him with rather suprised look."...The narrator..."She said and titled her head at him.

Vertigo chuckled. "Interesting. And sorry if I startled you." he smiled. "So how come there's a dragon?'' he chuckled.

Kairi laughed nervously as she scratched the back of her head."Well that's because a few days ago I watched Eragon again..."She said and leaned on the tree."Anyhow what were you reading?"

Vertigo smiled. ''I know that movie. It's actually awesome." he chuckled. "But you didnt have to actually kill the princess you know." he laughed. Then turned to his book and back to Kairi. "It's called '1001 ways to kill a dragon''' he laughed. ''Nah. It's just a book by Dan Brown called Deception Point."

"Well I too didn't want the princess to die so she could live happily ever after with the prince but the dragon did it..."Kairi said and then bent down to take a look at the book."Haven't read it...What's it about?"
