Lake

(I'm back an hour early because I'm a fast cleaner :D)

Sumiko looked at her for a moment, wondering if it was some kind of play to get the snake to bite her, but something about the girl made her doubt she was in any danger. She nodded a bit, the edge usually in her hard eyes fading as she put her hands out.

Rie set the snake in the stranger's hands. She wasn't worried about the snake biting, he was calmed down and wouldn't bite unless any sudden movements were made. The only thing she wasn't completely sure of was what Sumiko may do to the snake, but she wasn't all that concerned.

(I'm like slow. Nothing like my mom or grandma. I broke the habit of cleanliness with my mess making skills lol)

Sumiko allowed the snake to coil around her arm, but she watched it carefully, making sure she could avoid getting bitten if it did attack her. "Does it have a name?" She asked, looking up at the stranger, not even bothering to ask her name.

(xD I love making messes, but I always have to clean them up T^T)

"I could never think of one," Rie replied. "I think he's perfectly happy without a name." When she came to think of it, she'd be happy without her name. She wasn't talked to or addressed often, and it wasn't as if she was going to do anything with her life. No, everything done in her life was controlled by her parents.

Sumiko stayed silent for a moment, letting the snake slither around her arm. "I'll call him Spoon then, if you don't mind." She smiled just barely, watching the snake make its way around her left shoulder. But, when it reached her right shoulder she panicked a bit, and grabbed right behind his head, turning his body around so he was heading in the other direction away from her shoulder and back down her arm.

"Spoon it is," Rie said, a bit amused at her reaction to the snake. She made sure not to let it show-- she didn't want to seem rude.

It seemed Rie was getting a little used to Sumiko, but she didn't expect the comfort to last very long. She would rather be surprised with something better than expected than be let down. All her goals were set low.

Sumiko chuckled a bit nervously, putting her free hand over her right shoulder, "A bit funny I found out your pet's name before your own." She stood carefully, trying not to scare the snake and sat down next to the girl, but she made sure there was a good amount of space between them.

"Rie," she said. "I find it odd a stranger named a snake I've had a year. Shows just how great I am with names." Rie tapped her toes in her converse shoe, fidgeting as she usually did.

Sumiko ran her finger along Spoon's smooth, scaly body, "Rie, eh?" She smiled a bit, "You may call me Miko, Rie." The smile quickly disappeared when Spoon started going onto her right shoulder again and she quickly moved him again, her hands moving faster than usual, which they were always moving quickly already.

"Very well I will call you Miko," Rie said, guessing it was a nickname or short version of her real name. Seeing the quick reaction to the snake's actions, Rie figured there was something making her uncomfortable. "If he's making you uncomfortable you don't have to hold him."

Sumiko instantly calmed as she put Spoon in her lap, "No, no, he's fine. Just his scales feel odd on the back of my neck." She said smoothly and sincerely, but knew it was a lie. She had gotten so used to lying about herself that she'd started to believe in what she was saying however, and that's why the lies were never detected.

Rie was a bit confused. She had never noticed anything odd about the feel of scales on the back of her neck. Then again she was also used to tarantulas. Unfortunately she couldn't take them for walks. In any case, she was a bit suspicious of this Miko girl.

"I see," she said, not letting on about anything. "Snakes are animals that take a bit of getting used to."

Sumiko looked at the snake with a bit of curiosity in her eyes, "It's quite rare to find a snake where I'm from. Only stray dogs and cats, and lots of rats and small rodents." She took Spoon in her hands and held him up so when his tongue flicked out it almost touched the tip of her nose.

"I'm not one for things with fur," said Rie. She would ask where Miko was from, but it couldn't have been a pleasant area if it was inhabited by stray pets and rats. As Rie thought of something to say, her phone vibrated again, notifying her of a text from Kamoku. It was just something about business plans for when they were graduated. It didn't interest her. "I don't need to reply," she said as she deleted the message.

Berry walks along the water sighing but smells as she feels water hit her feet..

Shiro-hi wondered and sat at the lakes edge.

Berry gigggles and splashes some water in the air

Shiro-hi looked at the irl, but left.

Berry watches as Shiro-hi leaves and sighs

Shiro changed her mind and went back sitting on the docks.

Berry watches her and smiles

Shiro-hi glared at the water, as if to say I'm not gettin in.

Berry frowns "Fine more fun for me!" and giggles and sits by the water and smiles

Sumiko sat up a bit straighter, "A friend?" She asked curiously, looking at the phone. She was trying to ignore the other 2 girls at the lake, disliking how much sound would be added to the area with them there.

Berry sit down and splahed some water in the air and looked up at the moon
