The River...

Sigismund had been away for a number of days due to military affairs, and was dead tired. He found out his eye could be fixed as well, just it would take some time, money, and hope. Sigismund was jumping for joy at those words when they were said. So for the most part of being away he had his eye somewhat fixed, and to make things better he was now a Marine. He may have not been with the infantry but he got to be part of the support units. He was happy. He was even more happy to know he was doing his training close to here. He was jumping for joy at that. He only had to show up one day of the week and his whole weekend. It was worth it though. He was also happy with it. Now though the thing he wanted to do was tell Kairi his lover he made it in, and was now with the reserves.

As he walked down the river side he heard a rather fimilar scream. Sigismund chuckled a bit, and smiled. It was Kairi. He couldn't help but shake his head, and walk towards the area he had heard the scream from. When he passed a nearby tree he saw Kairi. He smiled in delight, and then blushed when he pulled out a small ring he got from his mother. It was a promise ring. Sigismund wanted to give it to Kairi on her birth day but was gone for awhile. Now that he was back however he could finally give her it. So without another thought Sigismund walked up behind Kairi. "Hey love." Sigismund greeted as he sat down beside her. He hadn't noticed the dog yet due to his full attention being on her.

Kairi jumped a little as she heard someone behind her.She knew the voice very well but still she didn't expected him.She turned around and saw her boyfriend and smiled."Sigismund..."But before she could finnish the little puppy barked and jumped on Sigismund biting his hand lightly."Ash!"Kairi said and took the puppy away."No biting."She added and the puppy relaxed a little.

Sigismund smiled, and chuckled a bit when he saw Kairi jump. "Hey there. Sorry to scare you." Sigismund replied in a loving tone. Just as he finished saying those words a small puppy came jumping up onto him bitting his hand gently. Sigismund laughed when Kairi took the dog away. He loved animals, and he loved puppies. "You got a dog love? When did you get him?" Sigismund asked as he pet the top of the puppy's head gently, all while smiling warmly.

Ash barked again when he pet her.Kairi sighed and looked at Sigismund."Just a few days ago.She's a present from Luna.She brought her from America."She answered and Ash finally stopped barking she let her go and the puppy lay down next to Kairi."I don't know what got into her.Usually she is friendly."She said and looked at the puppy."What about you?Where have you been?"

Sigismund nodded in reply and layed back onto his back. He smiled, and closed his eye. He then looked up at the star filled sky. "I see... Sorry I've been away. I've been getting things checked out with my eye... and I'm with the Marine Corps now." Sigismund said smiling as he turned to face Kairi. "I've been away mainly with my eye, but a few of those days were getting settled into the Marines. I'm still going through Boot Camp." Sigismund explained. "Don't worry though the training is close to here actually. Since I'm just with the reserves I can go to school and all that and only work on the weekends, and one day of the week." Sigismund finished explaining as he looked up at the sky once again. "By the way... I'm sorry I wasn't here Kairi... I got you something, and I ment to give it to you on your birthday but couldn't wait... So I'm going to give it to you now." Sigismund told Kairi, as he began searching through his pockets. Within a few seconds he pulled out a small ring box, and opened it, revealing a beautiful dimond ring.

Kairi smiled when he said he was now with the Marine Corps."Really?!That's great!"She said and hugged him."So is everything going ok with your eye?"She asked as she sat up and looked at him kind of confused when he took out the box with the ring.Her eyes went wide and she looked from the ring to him speachless.

Sigismund hugged her back tightly and chuckled a bit. "Yeah I know its perfect, and I'll be getting paid good money and with it we'll be able to go out on more dates more often love." Sigismund said pointing out the perks. He was happy he was in, and would be able to protect Kairi now. When he saw her eyes, he smiled, and tilted his head a little. "What do you think? I know its a promise ring, but I'd like it if we could think of it as an engagment ring." Sigismund said smiling.

"I...I..."Kairi couldn't think of anything to say.She was way too surprised from that.Yes,they did talk a little about this and everything but still...To her it came like out of the blue.And right after he came back from being away so long.Kairi looked at the ring for a moment.What if that happens again...?She thought and looked back at him still with a confused look.But then she saw his smile and everything just dissapeared.She felt like some voice inside her said: So what if it is a mistake?!If you don't make it you'll never know...Make this mistake.Kairi smiled and shook her head a little.She then looked at Sigismund one more time before closing the space between them and giving him a soft kiss on the lips.She shut her eyes closed as she wanted to say everything with that kiss,which was most likely impossible...but even so.After she pulled away she gave another smile.At the same time Ash barked and glared at Sigismund,but that didn't bother Kairi right now."Does that answere your question?"

Sigismund watched Kairi studder and saw how deep in thought she went into. He felt a bit afraid of what her answer might be, but he would stay strong until he got it. He just hoped she would give a positive answer then a negitive one. Yet if she choose the negitive one Sigismund would have taken it pretty good, and would have most likely go back to watching the stars. As he waited and watched Kairi think. His mind began to race around as well. He couldn't help but hope she would say yes. Then Sigismund saw Kairi smile and shake her head. Sigismund smiled back as she closed the distance between them. Sigismund returned the kiss with his own. He knew what her answer was and he was so over joyed. He felt like he wanted to cry on how happy he was. When they broke the kiss for a bit and after Kairi had asked her question Sigismund smiled. "I think that was a clear yes. So that makes us engaged now hey Kairi?" Sigismund replied as he gently kissed Kairi again.

Kairi nodded lightly and kissed him back.They were engaged...!She placed her hands around his neck bringing him closer.For some reason her cheeks were burningand her heart beat became really fast.She felt as if her heart would stop any second now.Kairi brought him a little bit closer and now their bodies touched lightly.There was no boubt that he could feel her heartbeat and usually that would make her uneasy,but now she didn't really care.

Sigismund returned the kiss, and wrapped his arms around Kairi as he did. He felt as if he was in heaven. He loved Kairi so much, and she ment everything to him. She was the one and only person he wanted to spend his life with. He would do his best to see to it that their wishes came true, and they both lived a happy married life. "I love you Kairi." Sigismund told Kairi as they kissed.

A smile formed on her face as he told her that he loved her."I love you too Sigismund Godfred."She whispered back.After a while they broke the kiss and she smiled at him."So,we're engaged,huh?"She muttered as a small blush came on her face.At the same time the puppy which was still not really happy about all that,jumped between them and barked."Ash?What are you doing?"Kairi asked as she scratched the puppy behind the ears and smiled at it.A small lock of har fell in her eyes as she looked back at Sigismund.

OOC: Sorry I've been doing A LOT of hard training lately, and I've been getting a lot more duties lately so I haven't really had time to come on, but now I do :) Sorry.

Sigismund smiled, and chuckled a little bit before turning and looking at the water. It was rather beautiful as it flowed down. Yet at the same time the shear power of it was amazing and captivated Sigismund. He liked it. As he stared at the river he listened to what Kairi had to say. "Yup, were engaged, and I'm the happiest man alive right now." Sigismund replied as he layed back while he smiled. Sigismund was deeply in love with Kairi, and she ment the world to him. When Ash jumped Kairi he started to laugh.

"It's not funny."Kairi said as she let Ash on the ground and the puppy started running around.Kairi smiled at it and the laid down looking up at the stars."So what do you want to do now?"She asked and turned around a littl so she was facing him.Her head still didn't really acept the thought that they were engaged but she decided not to show this or anyother sigh of trouble.Now she was in the mood to just do something fun and get her mind off of things.

Sigismund stopped laughing when she said it wasn't funny. He knew it would be best if he did. After all he knew how she loved to get him to pay her back. Although that thought did make him pretty happy to think off, since most of the time it was just kissing her in a certain way, or making her something special. Of course he'd do it without question, and would gladly do anything she asked of him. When she asked what they should do now Sigismund shrugged, and continued looking up at the stars with a smile. "I'm not to sure actually hahaha. Maybe we should head back home and watch a movie?" Sigismund suggested as he sat up and lifted Kairi onto his lap. "Theres that or we could just sit here and cuddle?" Sigismund said as he kissed Kairi's neck.

Kairi smiled as he set her on his lap and she placed her hands lightly around his neck.She suppressed a moan as he kissed her neck and for some reason directly hitting her soft spot.Kairi smiled and shook her head."How about we go home and watch a movie while we cuddle.I prefer doing that on bed."She said and stood up streching her hand for him to hold."You comming?"

Sigismund smiled and chuckled a bit when he noticed Kairi hold in a moan. When she gently placed her hands around his neck he couldn't help but blush slightly. Her hands were so soft, and smooth. They had to ability to make Sigismund feel relaxed when she rubbed him or held him. She was the one for him and he knew it. Hence the reason for the ring, and asking her to marry him. Sigismund kissed the side of her neck again when she told him her idea. "I like your idea better." Sigismund agreed as he stood up and took Kairi's offered hand. "Lets go home." Sigismund said smiling, as he wrapped his left arm around her waist.

Rain walked along the river bare foot. she was holding onto her shoes as she walked.

Kairi skipped to the river as she was looking for something to get rid of her boredom.When she reached the bank of the river she took off he shoes and walked in until the water reached her knees.She looked at it and sstayed like this for a moment.Then she heard footsteps and tuned around to see a girl walking along the river.Kairi didn't knew her but non the less she smiled and waved at the girl."Hey."She said cheerfully.

Rain looked up, "hi." she said as she looked at the girl.

"Beautiful day,huh?"She said and walked out of the water sitting on the ground."I'm Kairi,by the way.Kairi Blue."Kairi added with another smile.

"yeah, " Rain answered, "it's nice to meet you, i'm Rain Swan"

Evangeline strolled down the park and had finally arrived on the river. She looked up at the sky; it was yet another beautiful night of a full moon. She sighed as she scratched her cheek. Lowering her head, she began to fondle with her hair. She was acting quite strange. But then again, she should be. It was finally the time to tell the truth after all.

Vertigo appeared beside her. "Hi. You're late." he chuckled.

Evangeline's heart almost jumped out of her chest. "Vertigo! Geez! Don't scare me like that!" she pouted as she donked him in the head. "Ugh, and here I was going all serious and stuff." she groaned.
