Vertigo laughed. "So you like pulling pranks. Tch tch. Naughty." he chuckled. "Oh well. We're the same." he laughed. "I like using them against my personal teachers to sneak out." he smiled.

Vertigo splashed water on his face. "Pay you?" he chuckled. "It's your job to be my personal assistant, remember?" he smiled as his vision finally cleared. He straightened up, then splashed some water at Kairi. He chuckled. "There, have a taste of your own medicine." he laughed.

"Hey!Weren't you the one who said that I'll get cold from the water?"She asked and splashed some water back with a smirk.

Vertigo chuckled. "You'll get over it anyway. Besides, we can always build a camp fire later." he laughed and splashed her back.

Kairi splashed back and laughed.Then she stuck her toungue out and dived in the water.She started swiming under and stayed like that for quite a while.

Vertigo took her by the arm and pulled her up again. "Alright, now that's beyond borderline." he laughed. "You'll catch a cold. Let's go dry you up." he smiled and walked back to their things.

"B-bu-but the water...."She said as if she was about to cry and streched her hand towards the ocean.But then gave up and walked to their things.

Vertigo laughed. "If you really want to swim, then at least wait for tomorrow when the water is warm." he took a dry towel and gave it to her. "Dry up. I'll gather some firewood." he chuckled as he stood up and turned around to gather materials. "Scream when you need anything." he smiled before walking off.

"Enough with the screaming already."She said after him with a smile."And there is no need for fire."Kairi muttered and wrapped the towel around her.

Vertigo already disappeared within darkness as he moved around to pick out the materials.

Kairi sighed as she looked around and didn't see him.It was really dark and she went through her bag pulling out her iPod playing some random song to keep her away from the silence.

Vertigo went farther without realizing. When at last he decided to go back, he blinked. He couldn't see anything, and he didn't know the way.

Kairi looked around again."What is taking him so long?"She asked and turned to the lit up screan.

Vertigo looked from right to left but nothing gave him a single clue of where he was. He remembered what someone taught him in these situations. Follow your footsteps back. He looked down at the sand, only to find several footsteps leading everywhere. Worse, he couldn't even see before of the dark.

Kairi stood up.She was getting a little concerned."Who's the one who has to scream now?"She asked and started walking to where Vertigo headed.

(lol lol. didn't even realize it.i just noticed that something's weird with the appearance in the right side, and there.I saw my name.lol)

Vertigo began walking back, dropping stones on his way as he did. "Hmm. I hope Kairi-san doesn't do something stupid like walking alone to find me. If that happens, there's absolutely a high chance that we'll miss out each other. Then she'll be the one to get lost." he continued dropping stones. He chuckled. "I'm sure she won't do something like that."

"This is stupid now I'd get lost."Kairi muttered looking araound feeling little chills go up her spine.It was way too dark to see whatever.As she walked she tripped and fell."Damn it."She almost screamed getting a little mad."Stupit rock."

Vertigo was feeling like he's in the right path so far. He sighed. "If only she'd scream something like 'frog!' or 'it's too dark', I'll be able to track where her voice is coming from." he chuckled.

Kairi stood up and patted the sand off her only to see there was blood on her knee."GREAT!"She said and turned around to continue walking but she bummed into something or someone and fell back."REALLY?"Kairi looked up to see Vertigo."Oh,hi!"She said and smiled.

Vertigo looked down at the one he bumped. "I'm sorry, I wasn't really-" He saw Kairi. "Ah, Kairi-san. Sorry." he chuckled and dropped his things first before holding out a hand for her.

"No need to be sorry."She said with a smile as she took his hand and stood up.Then Kairi bent down to get the things."You know it's weird that I have to call you 'sama' and you call me 'san'."She said with a laugh and stood up.

Vertigo shrugged. He caught her arm before she can bend down. He sighed. He went down on one knee to pick out the things then pointed at his back. "Hop in. Your knee is bleeding." he said.

"So?It's not like it's broken."She said with a smile and turned around."I think out things are that way."Kairi muttered and pointed forward."Then angain,I'm not so sure..."

Vertigo forced a smile. "You should climb up or it'll get worse." he chuckled. "Don't worry, I think the way's straight ahead since the stones I dropped are behind. Now quit being a pain and just hop on my back." he laughed.

KAiri started walking and a little laugh escaped her."I'm not being a pain.I'd be a pain if I hop on your back."She said with a smile.

Vertigo stood and ran towards her. He walked alongside. "If I weren't carrying these things, it would have been easier." he chuckled. He looked over at her knee. "How did you get that anyway?"
