The Beach.

Ame walked onto the beach. It was nice at night, no one around to kick sand in your face. She walked towards the water, it was night so she would be swimming at this hour. She dug her feet into the wet sand. She sat down and held her knees up to her chest, she started thinking about writing another story.

Ichirou sat on the sand of the beach, the tide a few inches away. He had swim shorts on but was wearing a baggy black sweat shirt with the hood up. There were ipod headphones in his ears, and instead of looking at the ocean, he skimmed through his playlist.

Ame walked up behind him and sighed. All the dark colors are going to give this guy a heat stroke or something. She sat next to him and nudged him with her elbow.

"What are you listening to?" she asked smiling.

He felt a nudge, turning his head slightly. Ichirou unplugged one of the ear phones from his ear.

"What?"

"What are you listening to?" she asked smiling up at him.

"Knockout."

He kept one earphone in, and the other one dangling so he would be able to hear her if she spoke again. Ichirou's knees were bent, his arms resting on them. His finger tapped his arm, to the beat of the song.

Ame looked at the ocean, "What type of music to you like?" she asked. She hadn't been able to get to know Ichirou.

"All types."

His eyes shifted down to watch the tide sweep in organisms. He spotted small clams tunneling into the sand, as well as sand crabs sifting through.

Ame leaned back on the sand, "What artists?" she asked looking up, "I like rock and Japanese Pop."

"Too many to list."

He had one of those 320 GB ipods, nearly filled with thousands of songs.

Ichirou gave a nod, looking through his playlist for another song.

"So, what is your father like?" she asked closing her eyes, resting her hands on her stomach.

"He had too many mistakes, was busy too. Although he did care."

Even with his sweatshirt on, he didn't sweat once. Ichirou was quite comfortable, under the sun.

Opening one eye, she looked at Ichirou,"Your going to have a heat stroke one day. You wear to much black," she said.

Ichirou shrugged, grabbing the waterbottle beside him and taking a few gulps.

Ame smiled and sat up.
"Wonder why no else has shown up at the beach?"

Ame frowned, "Ouran has been empty lately..." she said looking up at the sky.

Ichirou shrugged. He was sure that people who were going to Ouran, would have better things to do then roam the grounds of the school.
