Ichirou hadn't really cared for things he was given. He always had the choice of getting a more updated version of it, so it hadn't really occurred to him to use things with care.

Mereni smiled and looked up at the sky, staying quiet for a moment realizing that Ichirou wasn't a talkitive person.

Ichirou slipped his hood down, scratching his head. His eyes blinked slowly, from slight exhaustion.

Mereni looks up to see Ichirou drop his hood and tilts her head to the side a bit. "Nice hair."

"Welcome." Mereni sits up and looks at him. "You've never been around a girl like me have you? Or is it just cuz I'm new?"

His voice sounded colder then he preferred, although he did speak the truth.

Mereni nodded and just shrugged off the coldness in his voice. "This is true."

Ichirou nodded, his eyes on the tide as it swept up close to him, then back into the ocean.

Mereni smiled and walked up to the shoreline and kicked at the waves.

He watched her for a moment, then turned his vision back to the tide.

She looked over at him and said, "Why don't you join me? Water is nice."

He pushed himself off the ground, and without shoes, he stood beside her in calf deep water.

She smiled and asked, "You don't normally do this kind of thing. Do you?" Mereni kicked at the waves again and smiled, loving the feel of the water on her legs.

He looked over at the blonde girl, standing back up. Ichirou wiped his hands on his sweatshirt to dry them.

Her head turned to see Ichirou and Mereni. She walked over to them, in a pale sundress.

Mizune's sentence trailed off, not knowing either of their names.
