The Boardwalk

The Boardwalks lined with street vendors.

"Arigato," Yoru murmured quietly, licking his ice cream like a little kid. He glanced at Kimiko, "Yeah I'm sure it will."

She smiles at Riko. "Nice to meet you again." She shakes her head. "No thank you. I am fine, thank you for asking."

She looks over to Yoru. "So." Thinking of something to say. "What brings you here?"

Riko licks her vanilla ice cream slowly."We were bored so we wanted to go somewhere else"

Kimiko nods her head. "I see." She gazes at the sky in boredom.

Yoru nodded and sat on the ground, he licked his ice cream as he looked at the people passing them by.

She thinks to herself. "When you said you weren't a bundle of joy, you were correct." She prompted herself in front of then. "Let's go on rides, ne?" Grabbing their hands. "What would you like to go on?" Looking back as she drags them

"I warned ya didn't I?" Yoru mused, he continued to lick his ice cream, letting Kimiko pulling him along with her. "If you were ran over by a car..what are the odds that you'll die?" he asked, watching some people around the boardwalk.

Kimiko buys tickets from a booth. "50/50" She answered not looking at him. Then she turned. "Of course, the other 50 is injuries, comas, and so on."

"Yeah..that's what I thought," Yoru said, taking a bite of his ice cream before gasping. "It's cold," he murmured childishly to himself.

He cleared his throat and looked at Kimiko, "Imagine if you were eat a banana then suddenly a monkey comes and smacks your face before stealing your banana. What would you do?"

Riko licks her ice cream quietly,letting them continuing talking and not wanting to intrude.

"Mmhm" She starts dragging them towards the roller coasters. "Warm up your mouth before eating it."

She glances over and remember the incident when she got hit in the head by a seagull. She shudders and says, "I would shoot it.."

Yoru chuckled a little and finished his ice cream, "That's a bit cruel don't you think?"

She thinks to herself. "Nah, they aren't extinct yet." She gets on the roller coaster and gestures everyone else to get on.

Riko smiled.She followed them quietly,wondering if she should start a conversation with them but she's not very talkative.

Yoru glanced at Riko, "What would you do?" He climbed into one of the seats.

Riko shrugged."Smack it back and eat a different banana"

Kimiko glances around as the went up on the roller coaster. "What's with the questions?" She asked

"Dunno. Entertainment?" Yoru suggested closing his eyes as he leaned his head against his seat.

RIko smiled."It's kinda entertaining "

Kimiko laughs lightly. "I see then." She thinks of something. "You are trapped in a desert, with only a monkey, snake, bird, and a backpack. How would you use each object to survive, if you choose to..., in the desert?"

"I would cook the snake..in the desert, stuff the bird into the backpack so it can lay eggs for me," Yoru said, he yawned lightly.

RIko smiled."And the monkey?"

"He's my desert buddy," Yoru said simply. "And if he annoys me..then I'll bury him/her in sand."

Riko giggled."Why not just eat him if he's annoying?"

Kimiko nods. "Each object represents something in your life. The snake is your wealth, the bird is your health, the monkey is your family/spouse, and the backpack is your burden. Basically you are saying that you will burn your wealth, your health will be your burden, and you are happy with your spouse." She turns to them. "Interesting, ne?"
