Hallways

Ame walks around the dark hallways of Ouran. It was eerie. She felt as if someone or something was going to come out at her.

Ichirou exited a classroom after handing in his paperwork, walking silently down the hall. He wore his long black coat that helped him blend in with the subtle lit hallways.

Nami sat in the hallway, a book in her hand. "The Ghosts of Ouran High, eh?"
She laughed at the thought but stopped when she saw Ame. "Hey Ame... Did you know that ghosts patrol the halls at night?"

Ame directed her gaze to Ichirou. Sure it was dark, but she still could see.
"Hey what are you doing here so late?"
Then she saw Nami sitting in the hall, "N-no! Don't tell me these things!"

He spotted the two girls, continuing down the hallway then stopping briefly to speak to them. Ichirou's stare was sharp, and his voice low but still within hearing range.

"I just had some business involving my registration to Ouran."

"Oh? Like what? And yeah, Ame, check out this one... They say when you sleep in class, this one makes sure you have nightmares... And this one cones out at night, yelling at little ghost children to stop flying in the hall."

Ame looked towards Ichirou, "O-oh well see you around then, Ichirou-san." she said then looked at Nami, hands placed on her hips.

"Just some paperwork is all."

He raised his eyebrow very slightly, at the girl remembering his name. He hadn't really thought about what their names were, just that he didn't know either of them. Ichirou looked at the book one of the girls was holding. A supernatural book? He eyes skimmed the cover in question to what they were interested in.

Ame sighed and smiled at Nami, "You know what Nami-chan, you remind me of a sister i never had..." She said as she sat next to her, "Okay, so tell me more about what goes on in this school."

Ame turned her gaze back at Ichirou, "hey, why don't you stay in here with us, incase something happens." she said smiling.

"I doubt anything's going to happen."

However, reluctantly, he proceeded to lean against the wall a few feet away from them. He did not believe in paranormal activity, he knew better. But after returning his registration forms to the counselor, what else might he do? So Ichirou decided to stay, despite that he wasn't fond of strangers.

Ame smiled looking at the book with Nami, "Ne, ne. What is this?" she asked pointing to a random paragraph. She knew that the supernautral wasn't all true but some was, maybe not witches and goblins.

"I never got to know your name, what is it?"

He shifted his eyes to Ame, not turning his head once.

Ame smiled and looked up at Ichirou, "My name is Ame Hikari, but call me Ame" she said in a happy voice.

"And I'm nami... And this paragraph is about a blood thirsty dog that got hurt in the construction of the school. It says here that the pool's banshees watch over him and keep him from taking their kill." said Nami happily.

"H-how can you be happy about this?" Ame said a bit taken back at how she could read all this without being creeped out.

Ichirou began to pursue down the dim-light hallways once more, the hood of his jacket up.

Ame layed on in the middle of the floor staring at he ceil. She had fallen earlier and had cared enough to get up. She turned her gaze outside the window to see the moon. It was pretty, and she had no one to share the sight with. She hated to be alone.

He continued down the hallway in a medium pace, now reaching her end of the path and walking past her. Ichirou decided to make no movement to the girl who laid on the floor, it didn't seem motivating.

Ame almost scream when she saw something in black walk pass her. This was why she hated being alone, being scared to no ends was NOT on her to-do list.

Ichirou halted, and turned abruptly. He had heard some sort of muffled voice, and looked down at Ame. Strange to be laying in the middle of the hallway. If it weren't for his keen eyesight, he may have very well stepped on her.

"Having problems?"

"Oh, its just you I-ichirou....no I am not having problems. You scared me, is all." she said looking up at him blushing ever so lightly.
