Mereni walked to the river and smiled. She stripped off her shirt and pants, revealing her bikini, and jumped into the water.

Akihiko yawned and laid near the water. He closed his eyes and his hand were behind his head.

Mereni resurfaced and floated on her back, humming a soft tune.

Akihiko sat up and looked up at the sky. He hummed a soft tune and rocked back and forth slightly.

Mereni looked below her and saw a fish. It swam towards her and swam away. She smiled softly and swam up towards the suface.

Akihiko looked at Mereni and blinked. He didn't know if he should greet her or not, but in the end he didn't.

Mereni winced slightly feeling a little pain and looked down. Her ankle was turning purple, so Mereni sighed and got out. She looked around and saw Akihiko, looking at her. Mereni gave a slight nod, and grabbed her clothes.

Akihiko nodded back and glanced at her foot. He closed his eyes and sighed. She got her cast off.

Mereni slid on her pants, and sat down. She looked at her ankle, waiting to see if it would change color.

Mereni smiled softly and remembered the conversation with her father. "Um....Akihiko.....did your father run into any trouble with the police?" she asked, looking at her hands.

Akihiko glanced at Mereni, "My father won't hurt anyone unless they pick a fight with him first." He didn't really know if that would help or not, but it was something that he thought Mereni should know.
