Mereni nodded. "Yeah. My dad was assigned to hunt down a list of bosses and I saw the list....your father is on it."

Akihiko closed his eyes and sighed. "Hn..that's not going to end well," he murmured, he glanced at Mereni with a blank face. "Did you dad find any leads yet?"

Mereni shook her head and looked at him. "Nope. He has leads on the others but not your father."

Akihiko nodded. "You know if your dad finds mine it's possible that we could be dragged into this too," he mumbled quietly.

Mereni smiled softly and said, "My father is already risking his job for me. I told him what had happened between us when we talked, and he is putting your father to the bottum of the list. Even though, your father is at the very top."

Mereni looked at Akihiko and said, "Our relationship and what we just went through." She closed her eyes, feeling them water up.

Akihiko chuckled lightly and placed his hand on Mereni's, "You're not going to make this easy are you?" He gave her hand a light squeeze and sent her a small smile, "We can stay together..unless you don't want too."
