Rules & Regulations {Please Read!}

NOTE! : These Rules are made to make an enjoyable Role-Playing environment on OuranHS. Please try in the best of your ability to follow these rules. If you see any of these broken, please inform a Staff member.

Also know that this is an ANIME Role-playing site

I. GENERAL

_{1a. You can Role-Play however you want but we prefer to use the instant messaging format

*'s indicate action
ex. *Chihara walks to school*
Italics indicate a thought or emphasis
ex. Thought:Wow... I'm very impressed with this student
Emphasis: Can you please not touch my belongings?
Bold can indicate emphasis as well
ex. can you please not touch my belongings?
Parentheses indicate OOC (Out of Character) conversations
ex. (Brb, Dinner)

2a. Please be at least 13 years old when registering of OuranHS. Some material may not be suitable for younger viewers.

3a. Please use proper English when Role-Playing on this site. Please refrain from using net-lingo (ex. lol, jk) while Role-Playing.

4a. OOC does not affect the Role-Playing World. It is used for casual conversations and the only place where net-lingo is allowed.

5a. Please keep everything PG-13. There will be violence and PDA (Public Display of Affection), but please use common sense when doing so.

6a. Please limit yourself from the Profanity. Swearing is allowed but please note that it can potentially cause a member to be insecure. Please refrain from using it in every other sentence as well.

7a. Please, if you are roleplaying with multiple members, a posting order may be needed to reinforce fairness. It's optional but highly suggested. What it is, is that while roleplaying with more than 2 people, it would fair and organized to keep an order when posting. (ex. Ichigo posts, then Naruto, to Ciel, to Tamaki, and back to Ichigo, ect.) This helps prevent unfairness and gives the other roleplayers time to post.

8a. Do not spam. We require that your posts have at least 10 characters, to prevent spamming in the topics.

9a. Do not spam by making topics. You are free to make topics in the OOC section, and Applications area, however, we ask of you not to make anymore topics anywhere else without an admin's permission or it will be deleted. OOC section topics will be deleted after 2 weeks of no post reply.}

II. SEXUAL and VIOLENT CONTENT

_{2a. Sexual Content- There are many forms of Sexual content. Please do not have an avatar or signature that is too revealing. Do not have any "graphical" cybering. Any of that may be done in PM or outside of the site. Do not advertise pornography on OuranHS as well, this will lead to an automatic ban.

2b. Violent Content- Although Ouran will not have as much violent content as other RP forums, please refrain from Role-Playing with excessive gore and blood. If the material is over PG-13, please use an [M] bolded or put it in a spoiler so those who read it will be warned.

III. CHARACTER RULES

_{3a. Please limit yourself to only one character/account. If you wish to have two, please provide a good reason as to why, and how it could benefit our site. If you have a sibling, please inform us or we will go on and delete the account. Any account that we have not been informed of will be deleted right away and you will be receiving a warning

3d. Please be original when creating your character. You may not use a cannon character (ex. Tamaki Suou). Please don't steal ideas and characters from another anime/manga/etc. (ex. Ciel Phantomhive, Light Yagami).}

_{IV. RESPECTING THE SITE

4a. Please do not intentionally emotionally hurt another member or staff member here at OuranHS.[This is mostly towards OOC conversations but if you are feeling extremely offended or uncomfortable in RP grounds, please tell the person and if he/she fails to recognize your rights you may tell one of the staff members.

4b. Please do not advertise your Role-Playing Forum (unless you are affliated with us) on this site or spam this site with useless post. If you see someone doing so, we trust you to inform us right away.

4c. Please do not insult our Role-Playing site. Constructive criticism is welcome however, when it comes down to completely insulting the site, all you have to do is leave, or take on the consequences

4d. Do not insult a member's artwork, fanfic, and/or original creation. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

4e. This site has a Banning system. Do you see the Warning System bar when you post? Every time we give you a warning, we'll have to add to that bar and once its full (4 warnings) We'll have to suspend you for a certain amount of time. If your bar is Green, you are safe! If its turning yellow/orange/red, you're in trouble. We don't like giving out warning and suspensions so please use common sense. When you get Ban, we would usually act automatically usually because the deed was really bad and unacceptable here at OuranHS. Say its after your suspension, you will only get two warning until the next suspension. After 3 suspensions, you are banned from OuranHS

*In order to start role-playing here on OuranHS, you must read the Rules & Regulations. To prove that you did, please send this quote, to Himawari Yakuzai naming the PM "Quote". In the message of the PM, please send this--"Applications! The Low Blood Pressure Evil Lord has given his approval!"
Please send this quote to Himawari Yakuzai and she will be the admin that will most likely look at your application. Sending the quote to any other administrator (ex. Mizune Shinase), will not be accepted.

Note that these MUST be read at least but we HIGHLY suggest you read the extended version of the rules. You can read either one and get a sense of what the rules are however, we HIGHLY suggest you read the extended version of the rules to have a better understand when you have time because it can save you from receiving warnings, suspensions and possibly a Ban from our site. We may have to pull out information here in the Extended Rules in our defense when a rule is broken. If you fail to read the extended version of the rules, we will not be responsible for it.
