Sweet Sweets

It's Azakeru's own branch of the Family bakery. She likes to cook the food her self, and it usualy smells of baking sweets. It also could work as a cafe with a wall full of books to read while eating sweets and drinking coffee.

Ichirou walked into the shop to grab something to eat. He stood by the entrance waiting for a server.

Rae walks over... her eye twitching that Azakeru made her wear that kind of an outfit.
"What do you want?"

Ichirou glanced at her uniform briefly then met her eyes. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and his voice was groggy from just waking up.

"Table for one."

Rae just turned around. "Follow me......." She sighed heavily.

He followed her silently, his mind thinking about business-related things rather than food.

Rae seated him in a small table by the window. "What would you like neh?" She pulls out a little ordering sheet notebook. (thing? lol I forgot what they're called?)

He skimmed through the menu infront of him, and realized that he didn't like sweets at all. He had so much on his mind that he forgot that detail. Green Tea was the only thing on the menu that he would actually not mind.

"One small cup of unsweetened green tea."

Ichirou folded the menu back up, handing it to the waitress.

Rae took the menu, looking around.

Empty in here... and a little cold neh

"Okay....... anything else sir?"

"No, that's it."

His hands laid on the table with his fingers criss-crossing. Ichirou waited patiently for his tea, and while doing so, he thought about what his father's true motive. There always was one, and Ichirou was apart of it this time. He exhaled evenly, louder then he expected.

Rae was right behind him with the tea. "Is there a problem neh? A reason why you're all alone in a social place?" She looked blankly at him.

Ichirou looked around the nearly empty bakery, his fingers uncrossing as he took the cup of tea and stirred it with a small spoon.

"No reason, I just needed a time to think things through. How about you and working here?"

His head turned to look up at her, his expression showing little interest to her answer however.

Rae looked down at him. "Azakeru is my friend..."

Eh.... more like she's someone I don't want to see destroyed.

I asked her if she wanted help..." She shifted her weight. "She threw a server outfit on me and threw me out here... .neh." There was quite a bit of annoyance in her voice.

After stirring the tea, he lifted the cup to his mouth and drank it steadily, his eyes still on Rae.

Rae rolled her eyes, she looked away to the window for a few seconds thinking. "... Money is a good enough reason to do anything now isn't it?"

His eyes fell onto the cup of tea, and drank it down mid way. Ichirou's fingers wrapped around the cup, tapping it with his thumb.

"What do you mean? Everyone wants money, most people would do anything if they needed the money.... it's not like it's uncommon." She popped her shoulder.

"I understand, but there are some people who rather seek out the more beneficial ways to gain the money. Such as, would you rather work as a cashier for 2 hours, gaining $10? Or as a hardworking construction worker for 2 hours, gaining $10? Obviously a cashier because you deal with less stress but still earn the similar amounts of money. Hard to understand, you not being into the work of business."

Ichirou found that he was rambling, and kept his eyes lowered to the tea cup.

"Yeah, but what about working as a prostitute for 50 dollars an hour? No one wants to do it.... but some people have to because they don't have the choice of choosing a better job..... You seem to think that everyone has a choice in what they do." Rae closed her eyes, wondering how a cup of tea got into such a debate.

Ichirou drank the rest of his tea, setting the empty cup back onto the table along with the spoon.

"Hmm it depends on if you care enough to get out of the bad situation........ willpower is everything.... neh." She took the cup quietly and walked off.

Ichirou decided to stay seated a while longer, taking out a folded sheet of paper from his pocket. He unfolded it, and also picked out a pen from his pocket. There were numbers written all over, indicating calculations of large numbers.

Rae saw he hadn't left yet, she looked at the paper over his shoulder for a second then sighed. "Do you need anything else?"

The sheet read the business process of the Izanagi Company. He looked up from his shoulder and at Rae, pocketing the sheet of paper.

"Not at all. Thank you for the tea."

He stood up stiffly, and left the bakery.

Rae nodded, wondering what that paper in his pocket was... but knowing enough not to ask about things that don't involve her.
