Mereni's Bedroom

Mereni looked up and raised an eyebrow. "Hm? Oh sorry Akihiko, huh....about the hotsprings?" She looked down at the letter and finished reading it.

"What does the letter say..if it's not to personal," Akihiko asked, stretching out on the bed.

"Its from my mom." Mereni said. She reread the last of the letter and crumbled it up and threw it at the wall.

"Why'd you do that?" Akihiko asked, tilting his head. He went over to Mereni and gave her a hug.

Mereni shook her head and said, "When I first met you, my mom started getting in contact with me. Now she wants me to stay away far from her and her new family." Her voice started to get softer towards the end due to it cracking.

"Do you know why?" Akihiko asked, he pulled Mereni down on the bed with him, hugging her tightly.

Mereni shook her head and burried it into Akihiko's chest. "No. All it said was that she hopes me and my dad are doing well, and that she and my sister are doing great. Then she met someone, they got married and now they're exspecting a baby boy....and she doesn't want me anywhere near them." She started cry softly into his chest and clung to him.

Akihiko stroked her hair and rubbed her back, not know what to say. He lifted her chin up and kissed the tears away from her eyes before he kissed her on the lips.

Mereni kissed back and asked, "Were me and my dad that bad that she won't let me by my half-brother?"

"I don't know..," Akihiko murmured, looking into Mereni's eyes.

Mereni looked back and gasped softly, sitting up. "Dad! If she sent a letter to me about that, my dad must of gotten a phone call or letter. He's got to be taking this hard. I mean he still loves her. She was the one who wanted to divorce, leaving dad sad and depress." She got up and looked through the rest of the mail, seeing if her father sent her anything.

Akihiko just sat there, letting everything sink in. Reminds me of my parents kind of..but they both love each other even though they're divorced.

Mereni flipped through the mail and smiled at a letter from her dad. "Got it." She walked back over to the bed and sat down on it, ripping the letter opened and read it.

Akihiko sat by Mereni, "What does it say?"

Mereni bit her lip and read out loud, "Dear Mereni, I am sure that by now you have recieved your mother's letter. I know that you must be worried that I am taking this news hard, and I am....but I won't let it distract me from my work, exspecially in the case I am working on. I wrote back saying to make an acception for you because you are her daugther and you need her in your life. When she gets back to me, I will let you know."

Mereni sighed and swallowed and finished the letter. "Untill then, I hope you have fun at Ouran, and make new friends and even a boyfriend; but I want to meet him. Call me soon. Love, Papa."

Akihiko hugged Mereni, "Your father loves you very much..just like I do." Akihiko read the last part of the letter and smiled lightly, "So you gonna call your dad?"

Mereni hugged back. "Yeah. I'll give him a call later though."

"So what do we do now?" Akihiko asked, he looked up at the ceiling then outside. "We were going to the hot springs right?"

"Yep." Mereni replied and gave Akihiko a kiss.

"Okay then let's go," Akihiko said, he grabbed Mereni's hand and lead her to the front door.

"Why can't you just tell me?" Akihiko whined, pouting a little.

Mereni smirked and grinded into him. "Showing much more fun."

Akihiko grunted and closed his eyes, "Mereni..we're at school."

Mereni nodded and kissed Akihiko. "Right...." she went over to her closet and pulled out a night gown that stopped at her mid-thighs and that showed off her clevage.
