The Gym.

Vertigo laughed. "Thought so." he chuckled and pinched her cheek. "Sorry I did those." he sighed. "I had no choice. Once you get to be a black belt, you'll even experience far harsh pain that what just happened earlier."

"Nyaaa~ I don't really care." she smiled. "I don't really care if it's painful or whatnot. I just want to have fun. Hihi." she beamed.

Vertigo chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "And you call landing on your back fun?" he chuckled again.

"Hmmm~ Not really. " she beamed. "But well, it's particularly nice to have a friendly fight with someone."

Vertigo smiled. 'True." he shuffled his hair and leaned back. "This is particularly why I enjoyed martial arts when I was in France. I get to meet and fight with different people."

Evangeline's eyes glistened. "Oh yeaaa~ You're a national champion there. Wooow~" she smiled. "So, how did you do that? You were like, the youngest national champion there, right?"

Vertigo laughed, then nodded. "Well, I guess it can't be helped." he chuckled.

Evangeline grunted at his "seemingly" humble attitude. "Seriously, how did you manage?" she looked at him with complete wonder.

Vertigo shrugged. "I guess I'm just talented at it. I started in the normal age, trained normal practice hours, and found that I'm actually better than most." he chuckled.

"Heey~ You can't simply say you're 'naturally' good at it! That's unfair! You should at least tell your training techniques and all those sorts of things that made your training more effective." she grunted.

Vertigo chuckled, but shrugged. "I guess you're right. But really," he shrugged. "I didn't do anything. I was born like that. Same way as you were born with your above 200 IQ." he smiled.

Evangeline scratched her cheek. "Well yea~ I suppose. But nooooo! It's still unfair. Because intelligence is obviously mostly inherited, but those karate stuff, well, nobody's born with a badass kicking skills you know!" she grunted.

Vertigo laughed and patted her head. "True." he chuckled. "Well, even if I tell you the training stuffs, you won't do them anyway." he laughed.

Evangeline gasped. "Excuse me? For your information, I am a very disciplined and very industrious fighter." she nodded. She raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Hahaha, you're right. There's no way I'd do that."

Vertigo laughed and patted her head. "See, told you." he chuckled.

Evangeline yawned. "Wow. I never knew martial arts could be so painful." she laughed. "Who am I kidding? Ofcourse I knew. But yeah, I just tried it for fun. And it really is fun!" she chuckled.

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "But you do realize that you'll have to train even harder now that you're a black belter, right?" he chuckled. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'll be training you right now. No matter how exhausted you might feel." he grinned.

Evangeline looked up at him lazily. "Whaaat? Do you really have to? I'm kinda lazy right now~" she grunted.

Berry walks into the gymnasium she yawns and says "Man am proablly rusty..I havent trained in forever...seen Adam cant really train with me..I have noone to train with me..."

Vertigo raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Yes." he chuckled. "And you should've thought about that before you desperately aimed to become a black belter." he laughed and stood up. "Come on, up up. We have no time to waster. Chop chop." he chuckled.

(Berry-san, we're currently in one of the private rooms for martial arts in the gym. We'll get out soon anyway, so we'll see you then after we leave the room.^^)

Evangeline scrambled up. "Alright already. Geez. Hurry much?" she grunted as she patted her clothes. "Alright, now what?"

Vertigo clapped his hands. "Alright, 30 laps around the gym. Now, now, now!" he said in a booming voice. Then chuckled.

"Heeh? 30 Laps?! That's, like, A LOT!" she pouted.

Vertigo smirked and looked at her. "I know." he grinned. "Now get out there or I'll throw you off the window! Go go go!"
