The infirmary.

Vertigo shrugged. "Even so, hitting you back is still kind of lame." he chuckled. "But wow, I can't believe you're quite a fighter. I thought all you do was cry." he teased then laughed.

"When did I cry?!"Kairi asked with a death glare as she kicked him lightly.As far as she could remember she had never cried infront of him.

Vertigo chuckled. "Hey hey, don't be so angry. You look like you're so guilty about it." he laughed. "It was a simple joke to see your reaction." he chuckled.

"It's offencive to say something like that when you haven't seen me cry even once."She said as she lay down and placecd her legs on the wall and her head was down with her eyes closed.

Vertigo blinked. "Uhm, okay. Sorry, my bad." he scratched his head. "But you didn't have to be that grumpy. Unless you're guilty." he shrugged and stood up. He walked around to find the nurse.

"I am not guilty!"Kairi said as she opened her eyes and looked at him."There is nothing to cry about."She muttered and turned to the side."Your turn to tell me what happened with your hand!"

Vertigo looked from right to left. "Hmm? The nurse isn't here." then he grinned. "Alright, time to explore." he chuckled. He started to wander around and pick a few things he's interested at.

"Hei!"Kairi said ad jumped up.She went to him and watched him pick some things up."Your turn to tell me what happened if you want the cupcake."She said and raised an eyebrow."And what are you doing?"

Vertigo looked at her. "Ah, it's nothing really." he chuckled. "It's just a simple wound I got in the middle of a fight. He shoved up his left sleeve showing another bandaged cut on his arm. "I had one my left arm as well." he laughed.

Kairi touched the bandage wondering what kind of wound it was."Hm?Who did you fight?"She asked as she then looked at his left hand.

Vertigo scratched his head. "This man that was after Berry-san." he chuckled. "He was carrying a knife with him. It wasn't a problem for me, but Berry-san became out of control all of a sudden and she attacked him. Well, the man tried to cut her, so I had to at least stop it." he pointed at the cut on his arm. "Then she still attacked, so the man decided to stab her. And yeah, I stopped it by letting it go right through my hand" he pointed at his hand.

"Satisfied? Now give me my cupcake."

"Hmm.Ok,I think you've desserved it."She said and held up the cupcake but then took it back."You ate the first one thanks to cheating,again.So for this one you have to say please."She said with a smirk.

Vertigo narrowed his eyes. He looked through the things he took, and then held up a syringe. He looked at it. "Ah, this one contains a sleeping drug that makes a person unconscious for approximately 3 hours." then turned to Kairi and smiled. "That means if I inject this on you, I'll be able to get the cupcake, right?" he smiled. "Unless you give it to me." he chuckled.

Kairi took a step back.But then smirked and shook her head."You won't do that."She said and looked at the cupcake."And since you aren't willing to say 'please'...I'll just have to at it myself."She said and brought the cupcake infront of her lips.

Vertigo spun the syringe on his fingers. He looked at her and grinned. "Kairi-san, isn't this event familiar to you?" he chuckled and shuffled his hair. "It's the same as back in the river, isn't it? You even said the same line when I said I'll steal something important. You replied the same 'You won't do that' phrase." he looked at her. "But I did it, didn't I?"he smiled.

Kairi took another step back and lowered the cupcake."Man you're creepy when it comes to sweets."She said kind of serious but then smiled and held the cupcake towards him."Here.You can have it."

Vertigo snatched the cupcake again and ate it all. After he finished, he laughed. "Woah, I didn't think it'll work!" he chuckled. He pointed at the syringe. "It's a placebo. It's just simple water. Do you really think the infirmary in a school would go with an injected sleeping drug? Infirmaries usually use drug pills when putting someone to sleep. And even if they use injections for that, they usually place it in a very safe place where students won't be able to play." he laughed.

"Thanks for the treat. How was my acting skills? Great huh?" he grinned.

Kairi clenched her fist so she won't end up with a broken hand again."Then again I don't doubt tht you would have found some way to torture me even so."She said and walked back to bed."So what are you planing to do with these things?"Kairi asked and took her bag getting out another cupcke and taking a bite of it."I didn't say that was my only cupcake."She said with a smirk.

Vertigo chuckled. "Well, for someone planning to take up Medicine course in college, I sure do suck in using medical kits and the likes. So I want to experiment with them." he laughed. He looked at her eating the cupcake. He lowered his eyebrows. "Cheater." he murmured.

He shuffled his hair and cleared his throat. "Ehem. Personal assistant, I feel like I'm hungry and desperately in need of a chocolate cupcake right now." he smiled.

"Well sorry Vertigo-sama."She said and crossed her legs taking another bite of the cupcake that was now a half cupcake."That was the last one."She said with a cheerful smile.

Vertigo choked. "What?! You..you ate it all?!" he looked at her. He then placed all the things he took on a table. "Let's see. If I put this drug here in this syringe and mix with a little bit of this drug.." he was doing exactly what he was saying "..I can produce a poison enough to kill a female blonde cupcake-stealer." he nodded.

"HEi!"She said and sat up glaring at him."Enought with showing how much you want to kill me,ok?"She asked and stood up and walked to him taking another bite."And who ever said they were for you?!You should be thankful you got two of them."She said and laughed.

Vertigo flicked the syringe twice. "Yep, it's done." he looked at her. "Wanna have a try if it works? Don't worry, it'll only sting a bit." he chuckled.

"You really hate me don't you?"She asked and made a hurt face and went back to the bed sitting on the edge looking at the ground.As her hair fell over her face a smirk spread in it.
