The infirmary.

Vertigo chuckled. "And you really think I'll create something like a poison?" he laughed. He looked around and continued to experiment with the other drugs in the infirmary. "Now that I think about it, what do you want to take up in college, Kairi-san?"

Kairi laughed as she jumped on the bed and looked at him."I won't be surprised."She said and placced her hands behind her head."Me?For now it's pharmacy."She answered simply as sh closed her eyes.

Vertigo blinked. "Pharmacy? Wow. I guess we're almost in the same field of study then." he laughed.

Kairi gave a small smile and nodded."I guess so."She muttered and opened one eye."So what really do you want to do with all those things?And I don't really think the nurse would be happy when she sees you."

Vertigo laughed. "It's fine, it's fine. Don't worry too much." he chuckled and looked at each drug seriously, reading the label. He read almost every drug he could find. He took out his eyeglasses and wore them to make it easier for him to read.

"You wear eyeglasses?"She asked and lay down again."You know if you want to kill me I would like it to be with a gun or sword not really a poison."

Vertigo looked at her lazily. "And why would I waste my effort killing someone like you?" he chuckled. "I'm looking for something. You're a future pharmacist, right? Maybe you can help me. Do you happen to know a drug that can somehow alter psychological patterns and bring back forgotten memories?"

"Yeah,it's called time traviling."She said and turned around."Maybe what's lost is lost for a reason and has to stay like that."Kairi muttered under her nose knowing sometimes it's better that way.

Vertigo shrugged. "Thanks for the help. It's really helpful." he chuckled and continued to read the drugs. "There has to be something." he sighed and shuffled his hair, then continued to read.

"Hm?Is that about the girl from your past?"Kairi asked and looked at him as she raised an eyebrow."Do you rally want to see her?I mean after all this time it's very possible you have build a completly different version of her in your mind-a perfect version."She said and crossed her legs.

Vertigo raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" he laughed. "It's just for something like an assignment." 'he smiled. He took out a blood-pressure kit. "What is this thing?" he scratched the back of his head.

"Well that's boring."Kairi muttered and looked out the window."It'd be uch more fun if you were doing experements on yourself."She said with a small laugh.

Vertigo looked at her lazily. ''Tch. Fine, yeah. I'm doing this for myself. What kind of teacher would even give an assignment like that?'' he chuckled. ''I just thought the search would be faster if I could at least remember her face.'' he smiled.

Kairi smiled and walked to him as she took two botles and looked at them."You know what's meant to be will be..."Kairi muttered as she was wondering what will happen if she added one of the liquid to the other."Well that's crap."She said and laughed.She did as she thought and added one of the liquid to the other and the result turned into blue liquid."I mean won't you feel at least a chill or I don't know...something,anything when you meet that person again.So you don't really need a poison or whatever."Kairi added with a smile as little smoke started coming out of the new blue liquid.

Vertigo chuckled. ''Is that Cobalt carbonate?'' he looked at the mixture. He shrugged. ''What do you mean 'chill'? It's not like I'm in some kind of a drama series.'' he laughed.

"Who knows..."Kairi muttered as she sat on the bed with a jump and looked at th blue liquid."And you make me sound as a totally girly-girl that's obssesed with romance."She said and glared at him but then laughed and streched her hands up."I don't really know much about these things...But that is said to happen to people in book and movies.So why can't it be truth?"Kairi asked and looked out the windol for a moment.She then turned back to Vertigo as she realized she really did sound cheeze."Not a word..."

Vertigo laughed. ''This is reality, so things don't just go the way it is. If you don't do something, you won't be able to accomplish anything. That's why I can't just simply stand here and expect a childhood friend to just show up just like that.'' he smiled.

"I know that!"Kairi said and started jumping on the bed."I mean that you don't need some serum or what ever to know who is the right person,right?"She added with a cheerful smile.

Vertigo looked at her. Then his eyes widened, "Wait, don't tell you're..." he raised an eyebrow. "You're the one?"

Kairi stopped jumping and looked at him a little confused."What are you talking about?"She asked as she really didn't understand.

Vertigo looked up and rubbed his chin. "Well, you sound like you're actually hinting me that you are the one I'm searching for." he looked at her. "Are you?"

"How did I hint anything like that?!"She asked as she raised an eyebrow."All these things..."She pointed to the medicines."...Are giving their side effects."She said with a small laugh."All I said is that I thing you'll know when you see the person,maybe feel something special when you are with them."Kairi said and jumped on the ground."Is it like that when you see me?"She said more to prove the point it wasn't her.

Vertigo scratched his head. "What? How should I know? It's not like we have some kind of opposite magnetic poles attached to our anatomy." he chuckled. "Anyway, never mind that." he looked at the medicines. Then grinned. "Hey, wanna play with these things?" he chuckled.

Kairi looked at him even more confused now."Man I don't get you today..."Kairi muttered with a smile and went to him."What sort of game?"She asked and looked at all the pills and liquits.

Vertigo shrugged. "Nothing. We just combine certain medicines and see what happens if we drink/eat them." he smiled. "Up for it?" he chuckled.
