Akihiko sighed and wiped the tears away from Mereni's eyes, "I love you." He pulled Mereni into a tight hug and closed his eyes.

"I love you too." Mereni said, and kissed him again.

Akihiko nodded and pulled away, he went to the door and spotted the doctor, "Hey doc you can come in now.We've made a decision."

The doctor nodded came in. "Alright. What is that?"

Mereni smiled softly and sat back on the bed. "To get an abortion."

(Sorry for the late rply. A family friend came over and I had to watch their kid.)

Akihiko sat next to her and held her hand, smiling softly as he looked at the ground.

The doctor nodded and said, "Alright. The fetus is to the point where you can just take a pill and it will work."

Mereni smiled softly, and squeezed Akihiko's hand. "Ok."

Akihiko squeezed her hand back before smiling lightly, "So are we able to get those pills here?"

(I got to go.)

The doctor nodded and pulled one out of his pocket. "Yes. Here. Take this and then get some rest. I will see you back here next week for your cast, Mereni." He walked out.

Mereni smiled softly and looked at the pill in her hand. She looked at Akihiko and nodded. Mernei took the pill and sighed. "I love you little one."

Akihiko sighed and snaked his arms around Mereni from behind. He rubbed her stomach and sighed lightly, "Love you too kiddo."

Mereni let more tears fall and brought her knees up to her chest. "Rest in peace little Tadashi or Emi..."

Akihiko let a few tears slip out of his eyes as he smiled sadly. He rubbed her stomach and kissed Mereni's shoulder.

Mereni hugged her knees closer and whispered, "I'm sorry baby....I'm sorry..." She let a few sobs out and more tears fell.

"It's for the best," Akihiko whispered lightly. He moved so he could his her lips, wiping her tears away.

Mereni pulled away and choked out, "For the best?! Akihiko, we just killed our child! I won't care I died in the end, as long as I knew my child was going to be taken care of!" She cried more, and wrapped her arms around herself, calapsing to the floor.

"What about me then? Do you know how I would feel if I lose you?" Akihiko asked coldly. He sighed, closing his eyes and ran a hand threw his hair, "The doctor also said that you both might not make it? I can't let my girlfriend and child die and leave me alone."

Mereni cried more and clutched her stomach. "I'm sorry baby....mommy is sorry...."

Akihiko sighed and clenched his fist, before un-clenching it. He glanced at Mereni and walked out of the room, resting his back on the door. Sliding down the door, Akihiko watched as people walked by.

Mereni got up and leaned against the wall before sliding down against it. She rubbed her stomach and took a deep breath. She tried to calm down before going to talk to Akihiko.

Akihiko lifted his head up to stared at the ceiling with lifeless eyes. He stood up and walked towards the waiting area. She says it's not my fault...but I know it is. He laughed dryly as he sat in a chair, covering his eyes.

Mereni took another deep breath and got up. She opened the door and walked into the waiting room and saw Akihiko sitting down covering his eyes. Mereni slowly walked over to him and sat down next to him.

Akihiko sighed and glanced at Mereni before looking away. He rested his head on his hand as he looked at all the patients walk by.

Mereni looked at her hands in her lap and sighed. "I'm sorry Akihiko. I should have taken your feelings in account with mine." she said, holding back fresh tears.

"It's fine...I know you were just worrying over..you know," Akihiko murmured softly, he smiled sadly as he watched a couple past by with a baby in their arms.

Mereni winced, feeling like a knife dove into her heart, seeing the couple past. "No its not. I should have been more considerent to your feelings...instead of just ignoring them and focussing on myself." She paused and swallowed back tears and whispered, "It's just that my grandmother always said that those who get an abortion, go to hell."

Akihiko glanced at Mereni and gave her a light kiss. "You won't..," he murmured softly, he grabbed Mereni's hand and rubbed it soothingly.
