The Water Fountain

The Water Fountain located in the middle of Town Square

"..Yea.."Shiro said then raised her pant leg to look at the blood covered wrap.

Kazuki frowned lightly, "What happened?"

Kairi walked to the water fountain as she was feeling kind of bored.A little sigh left her as she sat on the edge and looked at her reflection.She ran a hand through the water making the image of her dissapear as she started humming some song.

After staying like that for a long time Kairi finally stood up and streched.Then she took out a coin out of her pocket and looked at it.She couldn't help bum smile at the things it reminded her of.The girl flipped the coin making a wish on it while it was in the air.A small spash was heard when the coin landed in the water.Kairi shook her head and the thing she did but evin so she just turned around and stareted walking off.

Raven sat at the fountain, *kaii soooo bored*

Berry was walking on the rim of the fountain and smiles at her

Akira walked up to the water fountain casually. He leaned over the fountain slightly and let out a light sigh. A faint smile made its way to his face with a rather relaxed and content expression.

Akira turned his head and waved to the person beside him. He let out a sigh and placed his hands in his pocket.

"The weather's nice today, lets hope it stays like that for awhile." He wasn't much of a conservationist however, he did his best.

Mereni walked towards the water fountain with Jack by her side. She smiled at her dog and petted his head. Jack barked and ran towards the person sitting by the water fountain. "Jack!" yelled Mereni, running after him.

Akira titled his head to the side, having the sound of the dog's bark catch him attention. He lightly jumped up on the rim of the water fountain, not being all too fond of dogs or animals to begin with. He waved at Mereni and smiled.

"Well, this is a familiar face. Yo Mereni-san!"

Mereni caught up to Jack and grabbed his collar. "Down boy." she said to him. Mereni looked up and smiled at Akira. "Hello Akira. I haven't seen you in like forever." She looked at Jack, who was barking at Akira. "I'm sorry if Jack scared you. He does that to new people."

He swayed his hand indicated that it was alright. "Its fine and yeah. I just went to go visit my brother for awhile. I heard the opening festival occurred. How was that?" He asked curiously.

Mereni smiled and let Jack go, who sniffed Akira's pant leg. "It was fun. Me and Lelouch were hanging out at it."

He looked down at jack, loosening his collar to help remain calm during conversation. "Well I'm glad you guys had fun. How about Akihiko? Festivals are supposedly romantic places to be at."

Mereni smiled softly and sat on the edge of the fountain. "Akihiko was visiting his parents during the time of the festival. We were taking a break from each other." Jack finally stop sniffing Akira and laid at her feet.

He hopped down lightly and sat on the rim of the fountain.
"I don't think I've seen Jack around. When did you get him Mereni-san?"

Mereni smiled softly and petted Jack's head. "Last night. Evangeline and me were in the fields when she came running with him in tow. Jack didn't have a collar on and it looked like he was abused, so I took him in."

"Abused? Lets hope that you never find out his owner then. Although you do know that if he did have an owner, you have to give him back." He said with a slight frown on his face. "Or perhaps report it although, you need evidence."

Mereni smiled softly and nodded saddly. "I know. But I don't want to give Jack up."

He rubbed his chin and shrugged. "Well, you enjoy the time with him while you still can. Besides, he's already taken a liking to you."

Mereni smiled and nodded. "Yeah." She patted her knees and Jack jumped up next to her and laid his head in her lap. "I just wonder if Akihiko and him will get along."

Once again, he shrugged. "I don't know, we'll just see what happens. Whatever happens, happens." He yawned a bit and stretched looking down at Jack and Mereni. Although he wasn't fond of animals, it did warm his heart to see that Mereni was nice enough to take him in. "By the way, how do you know that he was abused and not just hurt by another animal?"

Mereni pointed to Jack's hind leg and said, "Well for one thing, there is a mark from a knife here." She sighed and kissed Jack's head.

"And not a claw?" It was in his nature to ask questions instead of make assumptions. If Jack were abused, there would have to be more hardcore evidence that could allow Mereni to keep him.
